Next month the UN bureaucracy in charge of global warming, called the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, will release its first major scientific report in six years. Word has leaked out that they have revised downward their projections for global temperatures.
Dialing Back the Alarm on Climate Change
A recent study in Nature Climate Change by Francis Zwiers and colleagues of the University of Victoria, British Columbia, found that models have overestimated warming by 100% over the past 20 years.
Apocalypse Later
Leaked part of the IPCC’s next assessment report knocks the bottom out of the global warming warnings
THE recent pause in average global surface temperature rises made lifting confidence in the extent of the human contribution to climate change "incomprehensible", a leading US climate scientist has said.
Judith Curry, chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Institute of Technology, yesterday published her analysis of a leaked IPCC draft report that has sparked an international furore.
"An increase in confidence in the attribution statement, in view of the recent pause and the lower confidence level in some of the supporting findings, is incomprehensible to me.
"Further, the projections of 21st century changes remain overconfident."
Most experts believe that warming of less than 2 degrees Celsius from preindustrial levels will result in no net economic and ecological damage. Therefore, the new report is effectively saying (based on the middle of the range of the IPCC's emissions scenarios) that there is a better than 50-50 chance that by 2083, the benefits of climate change will still outweigh the harm.
Isn't it impolite to speak truth to ignorance?

U.N: Global warming crisis overblown
Good. Finally some common sense.
Sure, we're to blame for polluting our atmosphere (o-zone layer and such), but our Earth, and Sun, go through major changes every few decades. Example, ice ages come and go..
If temperatures rise, then let's look to the sun (not literally. avert your eyes!), before we start assuming it's due to our human carbon foot print.
In fact, just two months ago, ABC News.com estimated soon-to-be-Nobel Laureate Al Gore's net worth at $100 million, which isn't bad considering that he was supposedly worth about $1 million when he watched George W. Bush get sworn in as president in January 2001.
Talk about your get-rich-quick schemes, how'd you like to increase your net worth 10,000 percent in less than seven years?

So global warming is real but only barely to blame on man so even though it will kill us all, we should ignore it?

You just said it is not real, then said it is not only real, but natural. You get back to me when you make up your mind if it is real or not.
