Irregardless... uh...

Regardless (that's more like it) of whether the group that claimed to be Venusians were authentic in their claims, the story in itself is intriguing.

It's interesting to see how far people will go to live out their delusions (if they are not being honest). Equally interesting is how people can dismiss any such fantastic claims out-of-hand, without keeping an open-mind while closely studying the evidence.

These people had to go to great links to be so uniform in their claims and expectations, presenting a back-story that was hard for the specialists of that time to refute.

If it were only 1 person making the claims and describing their history, it would be easier to keep their 'facts' in order, but that becomes exponentially harder as more people are involved in the story.

Over-all, I really like the story - a lot and I'd love to see this story turned into a big-budget blockbuster film!

Watched most of the video provided by the OP...of Schneider giving his presentation.

Two initial observations from the video:

1.) Apparently, (according to Schneider) the photo in question was taken in the ready room of the U.S.S. Eldridge, where the group or present physicists are discussing time-travel experiments.

2.) Schneider does not appear to be very well educated. (Example: He pronounces 'debacle' "de-bake-l").

I don't think it matters whether Schneiders picture or Stranges is the real Valiant Thor , I think they're both of a fictional character

But this is where everything unravels from a debunking perspective. It does matter because anyone jumping on the coat-tails regarding the Val story must be aware of the circulating pictures of Val Thor. Something doesn't sit right and I'm trying to put my finger on it. It's really hard to convey...

Two hucksters with the same story but with two drastically different physical accounts of the main character seems sloppy. Very sloppy. Especially since Stranges is an investigator and his credentials. It would mean Schneider is making up stuff on the fly but yet adhering to the original account from Stranges. It doesn't really make sense.

However, what does make sense is to create an intentional fabrication of accounts (Stranges) to contradict another (Schneider) to make both appear as disinfo. For me, Stranges photo of Val looks more like a Hollywood actor than Schneider's. At least Schneider's photo takes place in a military environment.

Here's a Jerry Springer show I found that has Dr. Stranges as a guest towards the end. It's about Omnec, the other 'Venusian" who claims to have met Thor. She has her kids on the show all grown up who have now become skeptical of her stories since they were children. Not saying I believe her but damn, she's looking pretty fine at 50ish. A bit off my point but I thought it relevant to this thread.

Photo of the meeting, which is NOT cropped and includes the group's speaker:
The presenter (not pictured in the OP's photo is listed as A. Yaglu...and Valiant Thor is listed as DON THOR):

www.bielek-debunked.com...

THIS same photo is used in conjunction with a story about the U.S.S. Eldridge (Where Schneider says this meeting which included Valiant Thor took place)...please read the names of those present in the photo's caption...
...as well as the expert statement in the article that says there is no way this photo shows the ready room of a D.E. Class vessel, such as the Eldridge.

The Final Briefing on board of the USS Eldridge

"Another photograph very much in doubt can be found on the web page "The Life of Ed Cameron" . Next to the description "Final briefing inside the USS Eldridge August 9, 1943 we read: Lecturer - A. Yaglu, Don Thor, Oscar Schneider, Lawrence Schmidt (Maxon Electronics Corp.), Morris Hablagnian, Dr. Vannevar Bush." A 'ready room' onboard the USS Eldridge is shown. Allegedly this picture was taken on August 9, 1943 and shows the test crew of the USS Eldridge inside the ship, assembled for a briefing.

We sent this picture to some people, who would be able to distinguish what the insides of this class of ship looked like. Nobody else could this do better than these people who actually take care of one of the last three remaining Destroyer Escort vessels of the Cannon Class that is left in the USA. In Albany, N.Y. you can still locate the USS Slater (DE 766), now preserved as a wartime memorial, which is open to public visits. Mr. Tim Rizzuto, who is taking care about the ship, received that photo from Bielek's web site from me and with that photo in his hands he walked through the whole ship [the Slater] from bow to stern, and couldn't find a room, which in any way matches the room shown on the photograph either by size, shape or fittings. Have a look yourself, the people of the Slater provide an Electronic Tour through their ship. The biggest rooms are the Ward Room and the Crew Mess, which are still much smaller than the room shown on the photograph 'The Final Briefing'. To get additional opinions, I sent the photograph of the alleged test crew to two US navy vets, who were doing duty onboard a Destroyer Escort of the Cannon Class during WW II. Both took a look at the photograph and replied that it in no way was this photograph taken onboard a Cannon Class Destroyer Escort. Remember that the USS Eldridge was of this class.
The Final Briefing ?

This is what a true expert says about that photo from Bielek.com. Tim Rizzuto, ship restorer of the museum ship DE 766, USS Slater, Albany:

"No way was it taken on a DE. There is no space that big. I'd guess it's on a carrier or cruiser because of the size of the space and the false bulkhead particians. My guess is that it was taken in the sixties based on the fluorescent lights (modern) in the overhead, but the old RBO radio on the shelf in the bulkhead. It appears to be a messing or lounge space. Note that it is also a battle dressing station because the mounting brackets for surgical lights are in the overhead."

In the video at 22:20, Schneider says he never got to shake "Val Valiant Thor's" hand because he was in kind of space suit because all aliens carry germs, diseases, and bacterium that are deadly to us. Yet, there he is in the photo, sitting out in public with no space suit, nothing to protect him from everyone around him. That contradicts the statement.

He also mentions that he follows Billy Meier. Most here know he was proven to be a fraud.

By the way, the man in the background is looking at the cameraman, not "Val Valiant Thor".
Edit: I see 'solongandgoodnight' beat me to it.

About the speaker in the photo: A. Yaglu

When one looks at the photograph,
which I have, of the final briefing on
the 9th of August, 1943, aboard the
Eldridge, the group is of distinguished
scientists (civilians mostly) and a
couple of military men. Also in the
picture was Dr. Oscar O. Snyder, the
M.D. in charge of all the tests. The
lecturer was a man who was a Ph.D.
in subatomic physics, and he was an
Indian guy by birth, sub-continent
India; name was, I think, Yaglu. He
gave the final briefing and lecture.

Unity_99
Its not about looks. Humans here are a cosmic soup as well. Humanoids throughout the cosmos look like us, or variations of us, or similar as with some greys and felines. Some are splitting images. Some are very tall, however.

Unfortunately, that photo only seems to exist on that one site on the Internet; it appears to be original to that source.
Odd.
In your blow up, it looks like his hand on the briefcase handle is sporting the standard FIVE fingers.
