Presidential Speech to Air 9/10/2013

Just now I read a blog on The Wall Street Journal. WSJ Peggy Noonan gives her opinion of what shes thinks the President's speech tonight will contain/be about. I have to agree with her and wanted to share.

I expect a lot of bulldung, flimsy "evidence" over Syria, and how we must save the poor rebels.

He was supposed to be talking Americans into striking syria but now he has to adapt it.

It might be because John Kerry made a faux pas saying Syria could just avoid this by handing over the weapons, but of course they won't. Putin caught that one and is arranging it. I think thst messed up the excuse.

I'm sure there will be plenty of blaming others, dodging absolutely any responsibility for so much as a typo in a news release and a long monologue that would give a bumper sticker maker a wet dream, but won't really have told us much of anything or established much of anything new or different for policy by the end of it.

That's my prediction. Now lets see how that turns out.

I have a feeling that Obama will have to correct Kerry's mistake about "giving the Syrians a week to deliver the 1.000 tonnes of chem. weap."

Then something about how dangerous it is to have a man like Assad as a president, which will flow into foggy arguments about protecting Israel.

Or maybe he'll talk about the Leviathan Gas field, that will have an enormous impact on the energy supply in the MED? naaah - just kidding

Amazing how Obama sounds like GWB right now.

Astounding how the current administration sounds like the last one.

Hell people I suggest go watch or rewatch 'Boston Legal' ABC show that was ripped out of the headlines from the last administration.

Funny how it could air today, and this administration is supposedly 'better'.

Once again accusation without proof. The essential question for me Mr. President is "How can we say for sure it was the government that used these weapons 98% of humanity is against?" For me there was a hard call for emotional response based on our lack of tolerance for messing with children which is a fair call but Sadly I'm being asked to accept without a shred of evidence presented that it was directly related to the government of Syria.

He didn't convince me.
