I believe that most people who work in media are really not aware of any globalist agenda. They do not connect dots to anything.

Reaction to my project has been both applauded and the source of frustration for people I know in the industry. But the majority tell me that they wish they could do what I am doing.

Why do you think this is? (I am replying to your first two sentences.)

I guess, what I mean to say, is: how could they not, since they should be the most informed, surely, as this is their job, everyday, day in and day out. How could they not be connecting said dots, or even seeing the dots, as so many seem absolutely clueless, or is that just being clueless so as to keep a job, shelter, etc......
Sincerely,

Because the design of the republic is still strong but has all this corruption built on top of it. removing the corrupted elements in government and in the system does not weaken or destroy the republic, it restores and strengthens it.

I couldn't agree more, government corruption and cronyism is a threat to our republic and I am doing what I can to try to educate. This may be a small (or big depending on how you measure it) group on ATS but, I think it is representative of public perception.

Hey Ben! I am a really big fan of yours. Cool to see you taking questions on ATS. Hopefully I didn't get to the thread too late, but here goes:

Q: Today, Russia announced that it has asked the Syrian regime to hand over it's chemical weapons stockpiles for destruction, and sign a chemical weapons treaty. Syria seems surprisingly warm to the idea so far. What will it say to not only the international community, but to the american people if Syria agrees to these terms, but U.S forces strike anyways? Does this latest development help avert direct U.S military intervention, or do you believe that Obama will order an attack regardless?

This is a great question but it is actually not a conspiracy so much as laziness. Here is how it works. most station affiliates have a wire service through AP, Reuters, or CNN, CBS, FOX, etc. With those services come "wire stories" where a station producer will receive a rundown of the stories available for any given day. You might have a story that comes in about a new app. It comes with a short script and video. What most stations do is grab that script and video and cut and paste it into the news rundown. That is why they are all saying the exact same thing on the same day. It is not journalism, it is broadcasting.

Hi Ben!

I have been following you for a long time now. You have a clear way of explaining the most complex situations going on in this country and world today. Not sure if anyone has asked this already. I didn't have time to go through everyone's question; so I apologize if this is a repeated question. But I know you're going to be doing a segment on 9/11 tomorrow? So, I guess my question has to do with what you feel or believe happened with the Pentagon? Was there a plane, or was it something else that hit the building? I have not been able to find any concrete answers for that question. I have heard from friends who say they have a friend or someone they know who actually saw a plane hit it. And then there are others whom I've met who had some access to the Pentagon, who say they saw a plane part or two after the crash. I figured with your connections, you may have been able to talk to credible people who know a thing or two about building construction, crash investigation experience, and plane parts, etc..who could confirm or deny that there was actually a plane that hit the building. The hole in the Pentagon right after the crash looks too small to have an entire plane go through it. I don't know anything about what holes should look like when gigantic airplanes make them in building going hundreds of miles per hour; but my elementary logic with such things tells that that's impossible. Then of course, the wall eventually collapsed and there stood a huge gaping hole which would make one think 'yes, a plane must have gone through the building,' forgetting about the smaller hole before the wall collapsed. Thanks for your time.

I was going to recently include an interview you did with Emillio Ibrahim on a thread making the case to go to war with Syria.Where im explaining we are picking sides in a religious war.Ill include the interview it was really good i think your full disclosure series is great! But now for my question why do you think the Obama administration is pushing so hard to support Syrian rebels even to the point of dismissing the UN?

Oh and for everyone else have a look at his interview may give you some new insight into Syria.

Thank you for your swift response

If people within this industry are not then aware of an overriding agenda, what would you personally suggest as a way of educating the people that wrongly seem to educate the masses? In all honesty I can believe that most are simply unaware of any agenda or shallow reporting of events, by not connecting the dots. If every day ordinary people are astute enough to discern between information available and skewed information they are presenting with, it would seem very difficult for people who are constantly working in this industry, not do the same, simply by constantly being exposed to various news feed sources.

Hello Mr. Swann,
Thank you for your unbiased journalism. I have followed you for about a year now and your reporting is like a breath of fresh air in the media. To me the whole Syria situation seems to be playing out like the movie "The Sum of All Fears" plot. Are you able to give your thoughts on what could really be going on in that region? In your opinion could this have anything to do with bigger "intrests" trying to bring Assad down for not wanting a natural gas pipeline run through his country?
Also would like to pick your brain on the Sandy Hook shooting. The lone 20 year old gunman theory has never set right with me, along with the conflicting weapons used reports and conflicting eyewitness reports. IMO this was done by someone or someones that were well trained.
Your thoughts?

How do you think change can be made by reporting the truth? Even now the truth is found by some and it's not enough for action to occur as a result. How will "the people" take back their country? Who do we hold accountable? There are a lot of places to point ones finger.

Ben,

I'm a recent journalism graduate from Texas Tech University (with a double minor in law and political science), and I first wanted to say how much of an inspiration you are to those few of us who aren't interested in sports or fashion journalism. I was told by a mutual friend of ours (not to sound too stalkerish, but it's a small, small world) about you starting out in El Paso doing cartel stories in Juarez, and it basically blew my mind that you started so close to here to go on and do something great like Truth in Media.

I could sputter on about how great I think what you're doing is, but I guess to be brief I'll just ask... how, if at all, is it possible to get involved with TiM as a journalist? I'm too broke of a college grad to donate money, but the opportunity to work with you, I feel, would be a remarkable learning experience. I want to help make a difference.

Thanks so much,
Anthony Hall

Hello Ben,

With respect to liberties being encroached on, there seems to be a lot of grey area for most people. For example: The war on drugs is illegal since the people (via the const) never delegated any power to regulate what they put into their bodies. We the people kept this right. We didn't waive it on to the care of our TRUSTED public servants.

There is no grey area for me. The constitution has no rules for any people who are not on duty, serving the people (government of the people). Every "Act" or statute which is passed by congress is for the SERVANTS: It can have NO effect on those who have never consented to that particular SET OF RULES.

A public official consents to that set of rules when they take their oath of office and also sign whatever corporate agreements they are compelled to sign (some in violation of their oath).

At WHAT point do the rest of the people consent to ANY set of rules other than to respect the rights of others out of self-evident truth? If one of the people has a problem with another one of the people - it's an informal "common law" proceeding where one guy says "I've been wronged" and another guy says "nuh uh" and then twelve people make a decision who were previously rounded up by the local sheriff. There are no codes or statues or acts. People just TALK NORMAL.

Just because you are born on a particular piece of earth (geography) does not mean others inherently or by fiat election (especially if you're not one of the "voters") have some "right" to tell you what to do. To suggest otherwise would fly in the face of the definition of the word "freedom."

With respect to MY CREATOR GRANTED rights being encroached on, white turns to black when a public servant doing the encroaching does not have probable cause (that s/he's prepared to swear to) that I may have committed a crime (must be EVIDENCE: UNBIASED witnesses, documents, video, audio etc). "Speeding" by the way, is not a crime. "Failure to pay taxes" is also not a crime. These are contract violations. The constitution protects our unlimited right to contract. There are written, verbal and also "PRESUMED" contracts. Presumed contracts are happening all around us. Most people don't even know they exist. Today's commercial court system RUNS on PRESUMED CONTRACTS (ie a complete cloak of deception).

So here is my question: What do you believe is the most effective thing each individual can do to preserve their posterity?

If I could show you some of what I know I think you would say: "Every FREE man or woman MUST know the LAW." I'm talking about the real law... not these acts, statutes, codes, ordinances, etc etc etc... The real law is SIMPLE. The real law is right in front of your face. It's self-evident.

Let me make it CRYSTAL clear from my perspective: In THIS country: YOU are the government. I'm the government. We the people ARE the government! It's the only country on earth where the PEOPLE are the SOVEREIGNS and our servants handle our affairs by our consent & direction.

NOT "sovereign citizens" (SPLC tools out there) - SOVEREIGNS! Don't call me no "citizen" it's a bad word around these parts. I live in America. We're free here. I'm not your SUBJECT.

I'm "vinceableworld" on twitter, skype and unsene (encrypted - think about it Ben) would be thrilled to chat with you sometime and compare notes

Godspeed

First, let me say thank Mr. Swann. I've followed you for about 2 years now and appreciate your diligence.

Regarding your comment above, I'd merely like to add to it.

I think we've allowed our politicians to make these positions as life time careers, even after leaving office. A wealthy endeavor needless to say. These positions were meant to represent the people. A proverbial voice. Many worked full time positions in the very early days of the republic and were called on when a state was impacted through federal intervention. The power at this time was truly through the people. Then the lobbyist came and then we allowed for our law makers to make law that they themselves were absolved from the very same laws. One of the biggest to this day is congress ability to inside trade without reprisal of the SEC.

To save the republic, our representatives need to return back to the values of their predecessors. This CANNOT be a "get rich" position as humans are weak with greed. Eliminate their ability to be influenced and if and when they are, they are sacrificed (metaphorically, of course) through the full brunt of the legal system. Matter of fact, there should be stricter laws for representatives than there are for the common man (I only use that as a mere talking point... I'm all for equality if its resides on both sides of the isle) as they can impact the common man more so than the common man can impact them.

Anyway, thank you again for taking the time to answer some questions. I honestly have loved your stance against the MSN and your fight for media truth.

Keep up the good work!

Cheers,

Tim
