"Aye captain, I'm giving it all she's got and I still can't keep the water out!!!"

"Fukushima Daiichi Ice Wall Shows Measured Progress

In a quarterly report on conditions and cleanup progress at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station in Japan, the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) said that soil temperatures at more than 90 percent of the measuring points in a circumference surrounding four reactor buildings were below zero degrees Celsius or 32 degrees Fahrenheit."

More at the link, but if they find that water levels have not been reduced at all, this is a colossal failure of biblical proportions.

"Giant Vacuum Cleaner Used to Remove Radioactive Debris in Fukushima

TOKYO - The operator of the plagued Fukushima nuclear plant has deployed a large device similar to a vacuum cleaner to clean up radioactive debris scattered over the plant's Reactor 1, the company explained to Efe.

Technicians of Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO) on Monday started using the apparatus, 13 meters high and 5 meters wide, which is operated through a crane and is capable of safely absorbing objects of up to 20 kilograms."

M, had to laugh when I read this in the above article;

"According to the company's roadmap, the withdrawal of molten nuclear fuel inside Reactor 1 is to be done within about four years."

Hahahahahahahahahaha. Oh those tepcoites are a funny bunch, aren't they.

Z, when those 4 years are up, the answer will be "Oh, no, sorry you didn't hear me right, I said 4 MORE years. I didn't say "4 years" because more is of course MORE."

That they would pretend to have it removed by then is really quite embarrassing.

Plus two other thoughts come to mind. If they were removing the molten fuel this time 4 years from now it would coincide with the Olympics taking place not far away. Good reason to stay home.

Second, why is the corium so hard to find. They keep saying Chernobyl was worse, yet the corium in Chernobyl was easily located with camera technology back then. The stuff at each of the three reactors is so many times more radioactive that even our modern tech stuff cant pull it off. Something wrong with that equation.

As an engineer, I try to figure out everything that could possibly go wrong, and then have a contingency plan for each scenario that I can think of.

As far as I'm concerned, any engineer that can't imagine a scenario where there is going to be a complete melt through, then the need to get the materials out SAFELY, is an engineer that should not only have their certification yanked, but shouldn't be allowed to design dog houses.

So, let's think about this. The cores need to be there for a long time before anything known to man can go near them. We have to stop the water from going through them so that we can contain the radiation so that it doesn't destroy mankind as we know it.

The water, is flowing down from the hills, through the plant, then out to sea.

We are at a point where they need to take action, like now.

It will take 6 to 8 months working around the clock, but they need to get every single bulldozer that they have, and start to carve a valley out between the plant and the hills.

Take this down to the point where they stop the water from entering the plant.

As they are doing this, canals are then built that take the water around the damaged cores and out to sea.

Once they do this, they will save a ton of radiation from contaminating the pacific.

Wouldnt that have to include a massive dyke on the ocean side. Or how would they keep out the ocean. You can drain the fresh water around the plant as you suggest, but that couldnt be done on the ocean side could it?

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to upload an image, then add it to a post, I have a ton of images uploaded, yet when I select the "insert your image", nothing is there, SO, I'm adding it like this (I have never been a fan of the forum software here):

s33.postimg.org...

My idea is to basically create a moat around the entire plant, BUT to do this in stages. As they hit the springs that are flowing down from the mountain, these are then channeled to flow around the plant and out to sea. I don't mean to go so far down that the ocean comes in necessarily, I'm talking about just channeling the springs around the plant and out to the ocean. If they need to go further up the hill, okay, and yeah I just drew this as an example, but this way you stop the water from getting into the plant, at least no where near the level of water that is flowing in and getting contaminated and then draining to the ocean.

FIRE AT WILL COMMANDER!!!!

So, on the ocean side, they can simply close off the bay and drain it.

s33.postimg.org...

This then stops the water from contaminating the rest of the friggin ocean.

FIRE AT WILL COMMANDER!!!!

They won't do any of this though, and I can tell you one main reason. The water flowing through there right now is most likely the way the cores are staying cooler than they would be if they stop the water flowing. They simply will have no idea what would happen to the cores if the water stopped flowing completely.

Other than that, this would work and would save the pacific from being totally contaminated.

Reactor 3 Nuclear Explosion at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant - YouTube

Check this out:

The daily Japan Today of Sunday 22 August 2010 headlined the story: “MOX fuel loaded into Tokyo Electric's old Fukushima reactor”

"Tokyo Electric Power Co loaded plutonium-uranium mixed oxide fuel Saturday into a reactor at its nuclear power plant in Fukushima Prefecture in preparation for the largest Japanese utility’s first plutonium-thermal power generation. The No. 3 reactor at the Fukushima No. 1 plant would be the third in Japan to be used for the so-called Pluthermal generation, but the only one among the three to have been subjected to anti-aging treatment with 34 years since its launch."

WTF? "anti-aging treatment" for a nuclear reactor? And reactor 3 was the one that went went nuclear - as in explosion, IMHO, of course.

Oops, that's TEPCOSPEAK. The same old, same old from TEPCO.

This stuff came out last month, but I dont remember hearing about the former PMs response. Some good reads concerning the navy personnel dying from Fuku rads and what Former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi thinks is going on.

Thanks TFW.

It still looks like youd have to do a hell of a seawall dyke from where the harbor ends, but at the end of the day this idea is probably the only one that will work in the short term. In the long term I dont see it lasting the length of time needed, but who knows unless we try.

I'm an engineer. I solve problems.

Seriously, if they are not going to do this, they have no intention of claiming they have any fault at all in this, and that sucks more than I can explain.

They will be able to control the actual release of radiation into the rest of the environment, but it would also limit the amount of water that gets into ocean, and again, it would limit the actual flow, they could monitor the water that flows into the bay to make sure it's "hot" before just dumping it into the ocean.

Okay, thinking about this more, once the bay is drained, it's simply a matter of building a permanent dyke on the ocean side. Make it 100' tall. You simply build a permanent wall and then drain the ocean in between. It may take a few years to finish but when it's done, the pacific survives.

It's that serious.

It's relatively easy.

We literally create what we think we externally perceive.

It morphs as we do.

There’s a collective element, but it’s all based on individual choices and to what degree we each allow ourselves to be directed by source, and not the external illusion.

Just when you think they cant be any dumber, they shock you. You know all that toxic radioactive soil they have been collecting and bagging so people can return to supposedly decontaminated land. They found the perfect solution for disposing of it. Make roads and levees out of it all over the country. Spread the love around.

Fuking idiots.

From the diary.
