ROTFL, I've seen one jump like this down here in one of the canals. When I was a kid, my mom and the couple across the street from us were really good friends, and us girls used to go fishing in the backwoods canals for weekend giggles. Just something to do without the guys, even though we never actually caught anything (not that it would have been that great anyway) One Saturday morning, we pulled up to our usual spot and set up the lawn chairs. Loaded up the hooks with bait, and cast the lines. As soon as mine was about to touch water, this little gator jumped out and snagged it. Ok, not so little, he was probably about 4 feet teeth to butt. I have never cut a line so fast in my life, and we bolted, lol. "They can jump?! OK... Ok... Ice cream? Yeah, you want ice cream, Little Nyiah? Ice cream sounds good, let's get ice cream instead today."
