Answer:

A person who wants thinsg even, will just round up whatever they choose at that moment.
An OCD person will try to equate the Money Counter to an even number.



An OCD person will know that the amount of gas will never be even(even if the reader says it is) because there is always some gas left behind in the gas tank.
They will try to even out money counter because it will be even now and when your credit card statement comes later on.

If ur OCD and choose otherwise, you fail at OCD!
