That was an amazing heartfelt plea from a person who has relatives there and is fearful of what may transpire in the coming months, and all McCain can say is that Assad is a merciless butcher. Hello? Sound familiar ? McCain by association is as complicit in any acts in Iraq and Afghanistan as Assad is in Syria. He may not have given any commands, but was involved none the less. Speaking "truth to power" is a beautiful thing!

If you listen to this woman closely she uses several justifications for not taking Assad out. One is that she is a christian and Assad has been protecting the Christians and the other is the historic presents of her family and name going back to biblical times. Another was her and her peoples minority status.

Here complaint boils down to this. If you take out Assad then we, my people will have to flee the country and so its better to be protected by a "butcher" than the alternative.

I really feel that this Administration and Psycotic Congress has LOST all its traction for trying to get this war going. Thank God for that. This is the type of people these Career Politcians need to hear everyday. These Politicians dont usually Have to stand there and act like they really gives two craps about this, thank goodness it was a town hall setting, giving him NO chance to turn his backside to the desperate lady. It truly is sad because pleas like this will still do nothing to change the minds of the so called leaders who want to go to war and the very very sad brainwashed Americans that believe them. Good thing they are still in the minority.

It's the same old story: People voted for what they perceived as the lesser of two evils.

I live in AZ and I despise the man. He seems desperate for unending war. It appears to actually delight him! In the next election, if he makes it past the primary, I'm voting Democrat, not that it matters.
