The American people never decided to go to war ever and they never ever will get to vote to decide to go to war.
Boston Tea Party?
Go take a history class, there was no United States then, hence no constitution.
Haha, fair enough.
Point taken.
But what of the civil war?edit on 5-9-2013 by OneManArmy because: (no reason given)

What about it?
Our leaders led us into that too. President and Congress. No whiney anti war protesters got to stand in line and got to vote if there should be a Civil War, there is no provision for such nonsense in the Constitution.

As 'teenagers' on the world scale, it is natural (at this stage of its history) to have the rambunctious and rebellious attitude is has. It will grow out of it...or go on to a less than savoury growth stage...

I assume that summary applies to Iraq, Israel, Afghanistan and Iran, Canada, Australia, Nigeria, Kenya, etc etc etc?
I honestly thought more of america than a petulant teenager.
I see it more as a big brother that has started to hang with the wrong people and is starting to go off the rails. I care because we have a single common heritage, we are family. And blood is thicker than the atlantic.

Obama being the most anti war platform ever to enter the White House now is doing the dragging, that in itself should speak of the dire need for action on Syria. Instead people search in the dark for any conspiracy to blame instead of letting the leaders they elected lead.

Calling people whiney anti war protestors while the mood is supposedly "Mild mannered" I find quite ironic.
Maybe you should change the mood to confrontational?
Ghandi was a whiney anti war protestor too.
But hey, no point hoping for peace when theres people to kill in the name of capitalist greed eh?
Wasnt the tea party a revolt against corporate imperialistic greed?
The whining comes before the action. Without the whining there would be no action.
And without action against the injustice of imperialistic greed, there would be no USA.edit on 5-9-2013 by OneManArmy because: (no reason given)

...people search in the dark for any conspiracy to blame instead of letting the leaders they elected lead.
There is nothing new in a government lying to their people to start a war. Indeed because most people prefer living in peace to bloody and horrific death in war, any government that desires to initiate a war usually lies to their people to create the illusion that support for the war is the only possible choice they can make. THE LIE OF THE CENTURY
"All war is based on deception." -- Sun Tzu, The Art of War
"Wars are all based on lies, could not be fought without lies" — Charles M. Young.
“Most wars are engineered by the Illuminati to weaken civilization and create a global police state" The Illuminati want to own and control everyone. They want to be God. They contrived all the revolutions, the world wars, the Cold War, Korea, Vietnam, the JFK assassination, 9-11, Iraq and Afghanistan and the "war on terror." ~ Henry Makow Ph.D.
“HISTORY IS A LIE! ALL WARS ARE STARTED ON PURPOSE!

They are just jealous of us because we have a constitution that allows us to make mistakes and correct them without insurrection and revolution.
As Churchill said, "Americans always do the right thing... after they have tried everything else."

Look, I'm sorry for being harsh but I'm raw right now and anyone with a brain would know that. American people should decide if we go to war(a voting process ) i apologize to those i have offended at the same time but democracy isn't a real democracy, the right to vote should be a priority instead of a fake luxuryedit on 5-9-2013 by Jordan River because: (no reason given)

I'm not too thrilled with the reaction i got on my thread and frankly I'm embarrassed to no end. I was heated up over personal discussion and made a 'smartphone' thread. Although you members maybe entertained slightly I'm not and i apologize not for my thread. But what may of looked like a hasty jump the gun thread. At least i don't hesitate like obama...ha

I havent given anyone advice. What you talking about.l I just wondered what this crap was you are talking about. Calm down. Im a friend. I have no problem here. Just asking for clarification.
Sorry!
I'm talking about the failed, socialist, police state utopia that is Europe. I don't want advice from people whose country has long since gone down the drain. That's like getting diet/exercise tips from a fat guy!
