P.S. there is no way the first video is from May. He is specifically talking about events from August and Sept.

Upload date says May 14, 2013. Are you talking about the statements made by the UN team member about Sarin in rebel hands? If so, the young man is talking about events similar to more recent ones.

No in the first video he mentions the chemical weapons attack and how The UK tried to pin it on Syria. He says the UN weapons inspectors say "it is not the Syrians perhaps the rebels". I do not remember this playing out in May. He has to be specifically referencing things from the last two weeks. Unless there was another attack that the UN Investigated earlier this year that additionally the UK tried to pin on Assad.

I think the medium term goal is the "impasse", stalemate with Syrians fighting Syrians (and Al Qaida) - and weakening both forces in the process. Whenever, it looks as though Assad has the upper hand then there is an initiative to arm further the rebels, or a punitive strike to redress the balance.

Yes, the report refers to earlier events. Watch the 3rd video which was also uploaded in May. It's about prior gas attack reports. I'll post it again:

Here's some of the copy accompanying the vid:

Syrian rebels chemical weapons un united nations. Syrian rebels have made use of the deadly nerve agent sarin in their war-torn country's conflict, UN human rights investigator Carla del Ponte has said.

Syria accuses Israel of supporting 'terrorists' in wake of air strikes

"According to the testimonies we have gathered, the rebels have used chemical weapons, making use of sarin gas," del Ponte, a former war crimes prosecutor, said in an interview with Swiss radio late on Sunday.

"We still have to deepen our investigation, verify and confirm (the findings) through new witness testimony, but according to what we have established so far, it is at the moment opponents of the regime who are using sarin gas," she added.

She stressed that the UN commission of inquiry on Syria, which she is a part of, had far from finished its investigation.

Here's a couple of items from a "timeline" of events in Syria:

First reports of chemical weapons use

December 24, 2012: Syrian rebels stationed in the city of Homs first accused the government of using chemical weapons. The U.S. disputed the rebels' claims, saying the weapons used were instead nerve agents due to reports the gas created a strong odor and was inhaled heavily. An odorless gas, Sarin only needed to be inhaled in small amounts.

March 19, 2013: Both Syrian nationals and rebels reported chemical weapons were used against each other in the city of Aleppo. Neither side's accusations were verified.

This is what the young man in the first vid is speaking about. Hope that clears it up a bit.

No it does not clear up anything. I know Chemical weapons were used previously before Aug 21st. What is not clear to me is when the events the person in the videos mentions played out exactly as he claims in this video you are saying is from May. In the video he references a chemical weapons attack..then he talks about the UK trying to pin the attack on Assad (Syrian Govt) then he says UN weapons inspectors said it was not the Syrian Govt perhaps the rebels? When did these events take place if he is not talking about the last 14 days? I am not backing any point of view here.. It makes more sense to me the rebels may have done it precisely because they have way more to gain than Assad would have. I am just wondering where the events he talks about in the first video happened and specifically when. I have been following the Syrian Civil War since its inception and do not recall UN weapons inspectors investigating or alledging the rebels as being responsible for any previous attacks. I do not recall the UK making accusations about Syrian involvement in a attack previously. If you could point me to where the events played out previous to Aug in the way he discusses in the video that would "help clear things up".

Not sure why you're not connecting the dots--and dates--here. I've posted links to both a timeline of events and the APRIL allegations above. Nothing in SoundOfPainWCE's video is in contradiction to the timeline presented. Let's review the vid and contrast it to the information below:

First: Did you check the upload date of the video in question yourself?

Here's some more items referencing April events, which came before the May upload date on the youtube vid which seems to be giving you problems:

On 23 April 2013, the New York Times reported that the British and French governments had sent a confidential letter to the United Nations Secretary General, claiming that there was evidence that the Syrian government had used chemical weapons in Aleppo, Homs, and perhaps Damascus. Israel also claimed that the Syrian government had used chemical weapons on 19 March near Aleppo and Damascus.[42]

By 25 April the U.S. intelligence assessment was that the Assad government had likely used chemical weapons – specifically sarin gas.[43] However, the White House announced that "much more" work had to be done to verify the intelligence assessments.[44]
On 24 April, Syria had refused an investigation team from the UN from entering Syria, though Jeffrey Feltman, UN under-secretary for political affairs, said that a refusal would not prevent an inquiry from being carried out.[45]

On 23 March 2013, Syrian government unusually requested the UN send inspectors to investigate, an incident in town of Khan al-Assal, as it said rebels had used chlorine-filled rockets.[46] However, they later refused to extend UN investigation.[47]

en.wikipedia.org...

...According to UN diplomat Carla del Ponte, however, it appears that the recent chemical weapons attack, in April, was carried out by the Syrian rebels and not the regime, as it had been widely assumed.

Speaking to a Swiss television channel, del Ponte said that there were “strong, concrete suspicions but not yet incontrovertible proof,” that rebels had carried out the attack. She also said UN investigators had seen no evidence of the Syrian army using chemical weapons, but that further investigation was needed…

Yeah, now that you mention that it is a rather dichotomous turn of phrase.

In all fairness though, english is not her first language and she makes her points well enough.

I guess the main points in the videos that I wanted to highlight are:

1st Vid: The young man known on youtube as SoundsOfPainWCE was more informed than many of us here were at that point in time and noted that UN official Ponte gave statements that it appeared to inspectors that the "rebels"--rather than Assad--had used gas weapons in March.

2nd Vid: Commentator predicts Obama being drawn into the conflict whether he wanted to or not and the type of propaganda from the Administration and the MSM that we are seeing today.

Talks about the rebels being comprised of a motley crew including our sworn enemy Al Qaeda. He further highlights various moves by US and Israel that suggest prior preparation/knowledge of the events we're seeing play out today. Commentator also suggests the "petrodollar" explanation for what is happening.

3rd Vid: UN inspector and war crimes prosecutor states they found fairly compelling evidence that the rebels were responsible for early gas attacks.

One thing is clear, we are in a march to war. Not because its needed but because its wanted. What's interesting is even though I consider myself to be at least coherent in reding between the lines regards geopolitical affairs, I must acknowledge that even I was scratching my head when Obama blinked and requested congresses authorization. "Supposedly" it surprised everyone including Russia. Well per your second video, I guess it wasnt a surprise to everyone after all.

Sadly the governments behavior is transparent in all of this and this time everyone knows it. What scares me is tht the government knows that we know and doesn't care and act this out anyway. It will be at this point that our current system of government, read: slavery, will step out of the covert and into the overt. It will be this momment when they say "listen, you had decades to prevent this and did nothing, we win."

Because his Muslim Brotherhood buddies ... the 'rebels' ... need his help so naturally he comes running.
He's madly in luv with them. And I mean it ... 'MADLY' ... because this Syria thing is MADNESS.

Interesting vids, thanks for posting them.

Seems the guy in the second vid believes Syria is a stepping stone to Iran (being the real target), in a attempt to keep the reserve currency.
I also think it may have to do with the central banks. Not alot of countries left without one. Syria has one but it's a bit murky as to who actually owns it, and depends what site you read.
Found this one had a OK breakdown of their bank.

would like to have a look at this site but seems to be block in my country.

great read and insight GUT I normally do not comment on threads like this, I will say that the trends in the world today and recent past as you have described are scary, I must add that necassary as well, this is the time that the good will have to fight back and set balance to this out of control monster

Thank you for your kind remarks...I wish we could all get along and work and play together for a better future for all of us,but unfortunately greed, fear and anger will always be associated with the human kind and nothing will change for real unless we all try individually to overcome those feelings....I hope TPTB knows what they are doing because from a distance it looks like they have no clue and they are dragging the whole world into another WW...Although that might be exactly what they want.

The "soundofpain" kid is smart but all I hear from the other guy is another privileged white kid complaining, he reminds me of the type of white or european kid who goes to places like Japan and complain about the whales, ty[ocal anti Parents/own country rhetoric repeated over and over again. (i'm a white dude btw)

Sound of pain... he says straight up, "why didn't we do this sooner" the other guy just whines that we are helping the rebels, Duhr, the battle is REAL your going to pick a side that suits your interests, just sounds like complaining and self hatred to me. At least the African kid recognizes reality for what it is...

5 Million people have fled in a nation of 20 Million OUCH... 100,000 dead

what was going to happen the world would just "watch" for ever...like a game of golf let them "play through"

Of course it's all Oil and Money and who's side we take depends on our interests, but what is Primadonna actually saying? He gets to live in a world where fighting like this doesn't happen "SPECIFICALLY" because of that military Industrial complex so he's off in a world where it's all flowers and butterflys and political interests and sides are never taken... mainly because of the people he is bagging being the reason he gets to be so pretty and altruistic, he's kind of an idiot

gee wiz, wouldn't that be nice... never pick a side. Because his world where we all smoke weed in a van with a brown dog and solve mysteries will ever exist.

The bro from Africa, he's actually talking geopolitics with a real world perspective and I guess you have to in part come from a real world with real problems to "get" why we do what we do.
