True love from the stars [AAC]

He gazed thoughtfully, it was time to go
My one true love, who had captured my soul

He whispered in my mind that our love would survive
Our hearts beat as one, for him I do thrive

He's not of this world, he comes from the stars
Been many places; holds loads of scars

He just came to Earth with a task from above
At first glance then kiss, we at once fell in love

Now his mission was done and he had to go
He would return, so our love could flow

I'll wait for as long as it takes him to travel
When he arrives back, our true love can unravel
