Lies are one thing- every government does it (it's in the job description). But, lies that are so blatant as to be insulting to even the lowest intellectual common denominator, really must tickle the putsch bone of Americans...

I've gotta give it to you- you yañ'kees sure do have a heck of a resilient constitution for being treated like imbeciles. *respect*

I agree that infowars is not a reliable source.. but its easy enough to check ourselves. It is, afterall, regarding a photo. So are you saying the story is not true or are you hoping people decide that based on your strawman argument?

This whole thread is one giant strawman. As if a poorly placed photo cancels out dead people from Sarin gas attacks the Assad regime carried out.
It is most likely Kerry got an incompetent staffer who placed an erroneous BBC photo into the presentation.
FBI is probably on top of it already to make sure any staffer is not acting as a saboteur.
Don't worry, the Congress will get the classified Intelligence version not the incompetent staffer version.

It is a lie, did you not see the videos I posted? This push for war has nothing to do with chemical weapons or children.
If they cared so much about genocide what about the millions killed in Rwanda, darfur, Somalia, Ethiopia or Sudan? How about the Kachin State, N Korea, Mayanmar and Guinea? Why not bomb those country's?

In an even more blatant case of hypocrisy, both the US and Israel have used white phosphorous in warfare in the last decade. The US deployed white phosphorous against civilians in Iraq in 2004 and Israel did so in its “Operation Cast Lead” in Palestine in 2009.

The US has also used depleted uranium in virtually every country it has fought in over the past two decades.

Meanwhile, the US and its allies are perfectly happy to look the other way when their planted puppet regimes around the world use chemical weapons. The Bahraini government has been weaponizing tear gas, locking down cities and flooding the area with the chemical until many of the inhabitants are debilitated or even dead. For some reason no one is laying out the case for war against the chemical weapons-deploying Bahraini regime.

The simple fact is that this war, like all the others before it, is being waged for the expansion and preservation of corporate interest.

I think someone took this comment from Kerry's speech and assumed "We know" he was referencing the photo in question...

We saw rows of dead lined up in burial shrouds, the white linen unstained by a single drop of blood.

@ 5:45

Maybe he was... hard to tell without more evidence.

So there should be an intervention against the US regime who fights illigal wars, killing many thousands including children, and is planning to start yet another war based on lies.

Just a little intervention, missiles on military targets, not to oust the regime.

Well, the Bill of Rights allows you to overthrow your Government, if they become tyrannical.

KERRY:
We saw rows of dead lined up in burial shrouds, in white linen unstained by a single drop of blood. Instead of being tucked safely in their beds at home, we saw rows of children lying side by side sprawled on a hospital floor, all of them dead from Assads’ gas and surrounded by parents and grandparents

THAT IS NOT THE PICTURE YOU PROVIDED OR CITED

That is not a hospital floor.
The children are indistinguishable or not present.
Only commonality is Burial Shrouds....And those are pretty fricken common!
He doesn't describe a child jumping over bodies?

* The only commonality is rows of dead in Burial Shrouds…which is a common practice in the middle east.

Kerry’s speech at 5:45 mark:

HERE are an example of the horrific images he was describing
www.dailymail.co.uk...

WHATEVER side of the debate you sit on, it is ironic that you accuse Kerry of propaganda…and your accusation is just that. FALSE.

The story was in the Independent www.independent.co.uk...
I never checked out much in the way of weather its true or not . Seems that there is a shift in what was a credible source to other sources that were not now being in a strange position of more credible ..I guess we need lots of salt for all sources weather they are credible or not ....peace

At least from infowars the articles are more credible than the MSM gov. fed propaganda... War is plagued by disinformation and confusion, MSM as sources during these times can't be trusted... I rather read infowars articles than from the filthy scum people who work for MSM.

That is confusing? MSM or Infowars? Why not just look for credibility apart from the source? Think for yourself? As for this article...Infowars lied as I demonstrated in my post above. BS remains BS...whatever your opinions are...and BS that supports your opinion...is still BS.

Otherwise...there are many valid reasons for opposing intervention in Syria, but this OP is still BS and constructed upon a lie.

I don't think you proved anything... 2nd I was talking about comparing infowars to MSM, in which of the two I would prefer to read.

and that is thinking for yourself, it's called choices.

He probably was referencing that picture, since he had already used that picture last year, it was later withdrawn.
When I posted that video of his speech, (back a bit) I allowed for people to make up their own mind.
However he has used that picture in the past, no matter what.

That picture does not show a hospital..unless the hospital is the size of an airplane hanger.
That picture does not show dead children.
He never mentioned any child leaping bodies.
AND there are a slew of pictures that I linked to from the Syria gas attack that show exactly what he DOES describe.

So no...that picture was NOT what he was referencing...his actual words and description exclude that photograph and there ARE photographs from the gas attack that do fit.

Again...this is a different debate than intervention/non-intervention...this is BS vs. Reality...and any debate should begin with excluding the BS. The OP is BS...

That blog you posted from the photographer implicates the BBC, not Kerry. I'm pretty sure he never referenced that particular photo. As much as I'd like to, I can't find any evidence of such.
