So in this age of equality between men and women where responsibilities and financial aspects are shared, why should it be a shock that women would be subject to the draft? men have been subject to mandatory military service (both voluntary and forced) for thousands of years in various civilizations. Equality is universal, not just as and when it suits.

So let's talk about the gender equality issues of the draft rather than the moral legitimacy of military conscription in the first place.

The distraction and misdirection is endless in this BS society. I'm really getting sick of being done on all fronts every time one of these clowns opens his mouth. It insults my intelligence and it pisses me off.

Okay, wow, he wants a draft. As I suspected, this Syria war is probably going to take us into war with Russia. I remember talking about the draft in my 12th grade history class, and it was decided that the next one would have to include women to become up-to-date.

The funny thing is, this whole situation is going a lot slower than I thought! That must be because we want to get this draft vote done, and then a congressional vote on war, both of which would kinda be necessary if we got into a war with Russia, Iran and Syria.

A draft... hmm.

Exactly, I don't think a draft would happen unless women got drafted as well this time.

“There is no mandate that the United States of America has to get rid of every evil person,” Rangel said.

“If it’s an international problem it should be an international solution.”

That makes sense, the United Nations should be handling cases like this, although Russia is blocking any sanctions and such on Syria.

I would suspect he is connected to the group pushing for women in combat as well...it smells like it anyway.
