Believe it was produced in 1964 and deals with the run up to WWI - it is based off the Pulitzer Prize winning book "The Guns of August" which deals
with the 30 days that lead up to WWI...
The 2 things that amazed me about it are:
1. All the crown heads of Europe before the start of WW1 are related to Queen Victoria of England
2. The video from 1910 to 1914 is amazing - its clear and depicts all the major actors of WW1.
If you are a student of history a must watch - it's totally biased against Germany but its good just to see the people you've read about in history
books in motion pictures.

The Great War was filmed and I wished more people took the time to record the old reel to reels on newer formatted recordings so that it could be
viewed by the current populace.
