I am sure many on here are aware of the recent chemical attacks in Sryia.

hemical weapons attacks have killed hundreds on the outskirts of Damascus, Syrian opposition activists say. Rockets with toxic agents were launched at the suburbs of the Ghouta region early on Wednesday as part of a major bombardment on rebel forces

www.bbc.co.uk...

In light of the recent attack that took place in Sryia. I would like to bring to the attention of ATS a news reports that was published by the Daily Mail at the front end of this year.

US 'backed plan to launch chemical weapon attack on Syria, blame it on Assad govt'

London, Jan 30 (ANI): The Obama administration gave green signal to a chemical weapons attack plan in Syria that could be blamed on President Bashar al Assad's regime and in turn, spur international military action in the devastated country, leaked documents have shown.

A new report, that contains an email exchange between two senior officials at British-based contractor Britam Defence, showed a scheme 'approved by Washington'.

in.news.yahoo.com...

Of note this news report is no longer available online for some reason the Daily Mail have taken the article down.

Leaked: The email was allegedly sent from a top official at a British defense contractor regarding a 'Washington approved' chemical attack in Syria which could be blamed on Assad's regime The emails were released by a Malaysian hacker who also obtained senior executives resumés and copies of passports via an unprotected company server

Is it possible that this is another false flag event so they the boots can be sent into Syria. The attack happened when UN chemical weapons team was in Syria.

The attack coincided with the visit by a 20-member UN chemical weapons team to Syria to investigate three sites where attacks allegedly occurred during the past year. Their presence raises questions about why the regime -- which called the claims of the attack Wednesday "absolutely baseless" -- would use chemical agents at this time. Read more: www.ctvnews.ca...

From where I am sitting it looks like an orchestrated attack. Governments across the middle east are being systemically toppled. There have been two major wars in recent years and both under false pretenses. I hope this is not the start of a third..

It is hard to comprehend that this can be true, but in reality it could be. It wouldn't be the first time that tactics like this were used by our government and other governments around the world. I will not repeat this though, I can acknowledge that it is possible though, using history as an indicator.

This is kind of a Syria's accusation

I agree with your assessment. You also have to look at where all the money is coming from to support the rebels/FSA/Al Qaeda. Last time I checked it was coming mainly from the west and some ME countries. But wait, didn't the FSA pledge allegiance to Al Qaeda and isn't Al Qaeda the sworn enemies of the west??? Basically it calls anything and everything the west has to say about Syria into question. Massive grain of salt time, lol.

If this can be proven, then nothing less than being arrested for war crimes should be the price to pay here. This only re-enforces my belief that nobody should be able to be president of the US without serving in the armed forces. Once you go through chemical warfare training, and you are deployed in some sh!t hole desert and hear "gas, gas, gas", you don't know what kind of affect this has on people. Chemical war is banned for a reason. It's the most horrible way to kill another living being.

I try not to blindly believe garbage like this, but in the event that something comes from this, something has to be done.

10000% agreed OP.

I read the story in our Metro first thing this morning, and that's exactly what came to mind. I posted on my f***book earlier:

"If America predicted this a year ago, you can guarantee they had a hand in it!"

That email was already proven to be a fraud based on some forged data in the header of the email. It was nested with many other legitimate looking documents that were supposedly hacked from a Britam server in Singapore or something I believe.

There are many threads here about the Britam hack and a couple most likely faked emails including that one.

It seems like American and Israeli governments are desperately trying to wash out their little remaining credit in the whole region and they even got Saudis and other gulf puppets to assist them in this plan....And yes ,,it looks like a plan because i doubt if they would be that stupid.,,I mean seriously!

Amerika needs to mind it's own damn business. We have been involved in wars year after year, most of which are unlawful, unjustified, and some have been nothing but a resource gain. We helped Saddam by giving him weapons, so his militia could fight off the Russians, and in return, we hunt Saddam down like a mindless animal.

Being analytical of an event is not bashing. There certainly appears there could be a link between the leaked emails earlier this year and the chemical attack in Syria. If this link is coincidental or not remains to be decided. The US has a historical recorded record of toppling governments, It is not out of remit of such behaviour.

If the premise of this thread is ridiculous why not tell me why. Words without substance are words without spine. Looking at the facts without prejudice can be insightful. What you are doing is the other way around.

Considering the majority audience on ATS is American, USA bashing for stars would be a little silly. I welcome all remarks positive or critical of the OP. Your remark however brings nothing of worth what soever to this thread..

I do not think peeps are US bashing for stars. They are certainly not bashing the peeps of the US. It is the peeps in control of the US that need a literal beeping bashing..!

Are you yourself not disgusted by their actions......? They knowingly backed this plan up ahead of schedule. So as to blame and disgrace Assad.

Hundreds of civilians men, women and children have lost their lives. What did those poor souls die for..? A worthy cause..? I think not....

Warning: Disturbing Image..

Medical reports in Algoota chemical massacre - near Damascus, said that those who were affected by the Sarin gas and considered clinically dead, may be still alive.

The Sarin gas kills the nerve cells which prevents the organs of the body to function normally. Confirmed cases where the family of the dead person prepared the body for burial after around 6 hours form declaring the person dead, found that symptoms of life started to appear. Doctors asked the concerned families not to bury any body until after 24 hours from the occurrence of the event.

This women is checking the body of her son every now and then to make sure he is really dead. What a calamity............... the criminal regime made people bury their loved ones alive.

People declared dead: 1400

People suffering from chemical reaction: 6000.

Taken from British Syrians & Friends in Solidarity with the Syrian Revolution - FB...

Does this not enrage you...?

I like how we apparently know with certainty not only which side did it, but who among them did it to be sure the US even knew a thing about it.....let along supported it.

That's a lot of certainty to have for an incident no one in the world is sure about the details on.

No, it doesn't make sense for Assad to have done this..and I've said that myself. It also doesn't make sense for Russia to be questioning the incident now in favor of the Rebels with the suggestion that Assad is actively obstructing any effort to investigate...as stories this morning indicate.

Heck.. i don't know what to be sure of on this now. Did Asssad PERSONALLY order a Sarin attack? Hell no... he might as well have eaten his own gun at the same time for how certain an act of personal suicide that would be for him. Could Assad loyalists or others have done it on their own?

Well... *THIS* body count is what I've been saying no one saw on earlier ones making it silly to say they were nation-state level weapons being used. This count is inline, in my opinion, with a factory produced weapon as much or more than a bathtub mix out of an FSA shop. Scary stuff here...

Syria has been used as a playground for satanic games of the world powers a few times throughout the history...A lot of innocent blood has been shed and people responsible for that are surely going to pay a big price one way or another..Some of only similar unspeakable horror against humanity dates back thousands of years ago...It is strange, scary, hopeless and so miserable to see this kinds of barbarism and genocide are still taking place in 21st century and by none other than the advocators of freedom, human rights and peace.

I agree i do not think Assad ordered this himself. It is like signing his own death warrant. The war drums beating and talk of brining troops close to the Syrian border.
I really do not know what happened in Syria or what is going on. It is hard to discern the facts from fiction. I only reported this because it looks might be a false flag operation.

Happy day Wrabbit..

DO go on and tell us how this is ridiculous......

Because what I see is a leaked report that we were considering doing what actually happened.

If i call you and threaten harm to you in a very specific way, then awhile later that very specific harm comes to you.....

know what? never mind.

Oh purple... I didn't mean your OP.. I'm sorry...I feel bad now to have you thinking I was ragging on ya.

I think your OP is valuable to see all the points of view. After all, I post things often enough as threads from what I'd consider "everyone sees it" sources, to be surprised at how many are surprised with the story. I think if we don't show all sides of things whenever possible, some folks may not even see the other side to know it's there.

An intresting page here...

They scrubbed it ...But we got the cached Copy for now!

This as close as it gets to having proof that the US and UK had a plan to launch a chemical weapon attack on Syria and blame it on Assad's regime!

Get the cached copy before its gone:

Carla Del Ponte said UN Commission investigating war crimes in Syria has 'strong, concrete suspicions' that rebels used chemical weapons

Her remarks contradict statements by the U.S. and UK which said intelligence indicated Syrian soldiers used the weapons
