Eternal Night Sky -Poem [AAC]

-- Eternal Night Sky --

I stop in the dark of night and gaze at the lights,
for many a year and a thousand nights.

I wait for my love from across the vast darkness of space,
she is most certainly not from my genetic race.

Her lovely blue skin and almond shaped eyes,
in eternal memory with lifetimes of goodbyes.

Over thousands of years she have come to me,
and in every lifetime she holds my memory.

Soon she will return from over the sky,
to kiss me softly and then say goodbye.

She will take my heart, and then take my soul,
in a cycle of karma, it is worth paying the toll.

When she returns and we kiss softly and I die,
then together we return into the nights sky.

She will take me away in her beautiful star-ship,
I will no longer be breathing, but it is always worth the trip.

For eons it has been this way,
our love is eternal,but my body passes away.

She is immortal, and she never can die,
with her blue colored skin, and almond shaped eyes.

Soon she will come, I can feel her close by,
She will come and take me away,
Into the eternal night sky.
