Is anyone starting to get really tired and annoyed with all of this doomsday ****
Because i certainly am getting tired of all these false doomsday predictions.

He was off by several days......Let's all just come back to this thread on the 26th or 27th and see what major events have happened on this world by then.......

well if one throws enough darts one is bound to get a bullseye or 2, same with predictions, throw enough out there one or 2 will be spot on, but not in this case another fail.

It seems so.......I wonder why did Rasputin or that paper from 1997 mentioned the date of August 23 2013.....It can't be a random date they just picked out of thin air, right? So, if something big occurs within 2-3 weeks, that means that the date above was just symbolizing the fact that we have entered the threshold for the above event to start happening.......is that right?

It is useless to discuss what did Rasputin want to say, with today's understanding, if that man died 1916 before the October revolution. Or if he is off several days or weeks. Perhaps he wouldn't care in the grave (beyond). Does it matter? See the essence he is talking about. There are words published in Russian, www.liveinternet.ru... He speaks as if he knows details of the solar activity. That knowledge was not available in early 20th century for the Russians, except for some scientist who studied abroad. Indeed Einstein published his work in 1905, others did, but I doubt Rasputin derived his prophecies from those scientists. It is remarkable he predicts of ecological, biological disasters and genetic mutations, along with wars that Russia (USSR) will be involved. Finally about the Sun. I cannot retell all. Just type Rasputin prophecy in Russian and you will get it. Many of the things he talked about are a sad fact by today, even by the year 2000. Indeed Jesus didn't come for a while, but Jesus appeared to many people who claimed to see and hear Jesus. Rasputin doesn't speak of a Second Coming but rather appearing. Perhaps 2013 has every chance to fulfill the dreadful final prophecy of the solar flare, although it didn't fulfill the prophecy of WW3 yet. Still Rasputin has something optimistic - in a far away future the humanity will escape the earth with an Ark.

Probably, but I'm more thinking along the lines of between August 25-August 31 2013....

Considering that it's now August 24, perhaps this should be in the hoax bin.

Yes. The thing is, we don't know exactly when an unprecedented world-changing event would occur.....It could be a few days after 23rd August 2013.....it could be a few weeks away......or a month or two away.....Nevertheless, many people from many forums have been getting strong vibes about something big about to happen soon....and it will happen within the current year, according to their spidey senses.....If I had to guess, it would be pretty soon, around a few days from today to a week or two from today.......The DHS and FEMA seems to be preparing something big this September.....I am going to do some checking on their schedule from Internet sources.....

According to that logic of FlyersFan, Fatima apparitions should be sent to hoax bin too. Respect prophets that are not yours and logic that is not yours. On September 5 I will say Rasputin's date failed. So what? Delete all that he wrote? You know he doesn't care. It is the people who should care. Who after being lied that Fatima is all over in 2000 now are before a nuclear war in the Middle East. Wake up to reality!

I'd like to see something in those lines too. Still, check what he wrote in original, some 100y ago, abandoning the yellow websites that made it popular in the last weeks and that do not give the original words

I would kindly ask the posters to keep respect to the martyrs. Rasputin prophesied the martyrdom of the entire imperial family Romanovi of Russia who were brutally killed by a faction of bolsheviks (Trotsky I think). They are all canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church Overseas that functioned as a distinct ecclesiastical entity during the Communist years. They are now canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church in Moscow (now united with the overseas) after the fall of communism. Rasputin himself is not canonized, but is painted already on holy icons. The biggest achievement besides the prophecy, he himself died as a martyr. We can read on the icons in Russian: St Great Martyr Grigoriy, St Great Martyr heir Alexiy (the son of the emperor). They are painted together because Rasputin used to heal prince Alexiy from hemophilia.

Notice that al those people were strictly Christian Orthodox. The honor of their memory requires a doze of respect of the prophet of the Bolshevik revolution as well. His prophecies extend thru that time, predict the end of the Communism, and reach our time with pretty new problems on the table. This is a giant prophecy. Because usually in one generation you have one-two general problems that the prophets speak of. (As the abortion in the most modern US history.) The Western civilization did not have the historic trial to live in Communism. It was spared. Please pay tribute to those who died in Gulag during the time when Solzhenitsyn talked about that in the West. It was not that far away and I am sure that most members of this forum have their memories preserved from that time.

Whether Rasputin guessed equally correct for today, almost 100 years after his violent death, is something to be experienced. But not ridiculed with, if he is off a day, a week a month. What do you want, everyone of us to burn under the sun, so you be satisfied? Fatima predicted nearly the same, and 70,000 people saw the sun going Down. Fatima is still not fulfilled.

So please keep the holy reverence to the last Christian monarch and his family that were the last royals to be executed in history, as well as to their personal adviser, healer and prophet Rasputin who prophesied all of that correctly in advance. To make him shut up today in a forum is not wise. It is funny, if it is not sorry. He doesn't need you, you need him! No matter a date or two, that we know prophecy depends on sequence of events, not dates, and often a true prophet miss a date - as for ex. Lucia herself in all Fatima saga. To concentrate on that date is not the wise approach. It is wise to read his words in entirety that concern our times and to reflect in prayer on them. One cannot predict of bio-genetic experiments 100y ago, and that prediction to be left aside. One cannot predict of solar storms to reach the earth and that crucial prophecy to be left aside, at the time when the solar flares do everything imaginable and unimaginable by science and stop short of taking over the Earth. And you say one date missed and it is over? Think again! Those prophecies say volumes for those elect souls who would enter into them. They surpass the planet Earth in their scope, as the temple of God would be moved by a new ark in the space. You are free to believe or not, as always. To expect September 5 (August 23 in Julian calendar) or to declare Rasputin failed again on that date. But please pay respect to those who died in sacrifice of what happened later. Perhaps we are alive thanks to their generous sacrifice. And here I am speaking not of persons but of nations. Everything could happen during the Cold War including the nuclear holocaust. Stalin had all necessary including the reverse engineered German rockets. He didn't push the button. Khrushchev didn't too. Andropov didn't do it in 1983 "Able Archer" (see youtube). The martyrs and the extraterrestrial angels saved us so far. It is not guaranteed for the future. Let be sentient and receptive to what some of them, not perfect humans but with the gift of prophecy, have said about our time. Thanks for your attention.

I'll second that , after reading on it seems now we are going to 2 to 3 weeks from the first date , no changing dates now, the OP posted Aug 23 2013 anything else is made up after the fact, and should be not allowed in the same thread, new date... new thread ...or state the date was wrong and end it at that.

I've watched predictions like this come and go and all the excuses for missing the prediction. A specific date is given, then it becomes "Well he meant it will happen AFTER that date." My favorite excuse was "But it DID happen ... in a parallel world." Okay here's my opinion on this debacle. You screw up a prediction, you just lost credibility in my eyes. No more to see here. Another spectacular fail for seers.

I will consider a nuclear war in Middle East (or elsewhere) by 5 September as fulfillment of Rasputin prophecy of fire from above, although not literal from the sun. This thread is about the prophecy of Rasputin in first place. Do you care about the prophetic words, or you care for the next debunk that you are specialists in. Good luck then!

September 5 is August 23 according to the calendar that Rasputin had it in his disposal. If this is not understood, nothing is understood and further discussion is pointless. This was my last post in this thread and in any thread about Rasputin. I'll wait September 5 and there is a great chance he was just as right as for the other things. He may fail. Humanum est errare.
