Let's not fail to notice a peculiar 'gap' in the graphic... it's almost as if Australia "doesn't count."

Truly, there are a number of ways to consider this extraordinary prop of political theater.... none of them are palatable to me:

1. Blatant incompetence and disregard for accuracy in the name of zeal for the "cause"; or
   
2. Nonsensical presumption by someone who, rather than accept the yoke of service to the nation, prefers to posture herself as part the gang who "runs the country" and merits all manner of latitude when it comes to her performances; or
   
3. Bothersome 'security' blathering from the "fear politics" mistress of the moment - aka a distraction; or
   
4. Machiavellian "new age" application of neural linguistic programming to re-frame a policy into something other than what it is... (sort of how all the news outlets are now talking about manning "stealing" rather than the original political cries of "treason" - which they used to improve their images as often as they could early on.)
   

I do believe if they could have a "do over" they would change that graphic... and give that lady an oral enema to ensure she stops being ... well, the way she is.

I'd almost rather be part of Germany than the US.
Germany has health care, a functioning economy, and uses the metric system like the rest of the world. No capital punishment, no "for profit" jails. No stop and frisk, no TSA, no guns around every corner and in every home.....

The CONTINUOUS land mass...no matter what or which country. Like Canada is part of North America as well.
