Majority of people are looking for something or someone to blame to take the consequences or responsibility off themselves. Whether that be a secret organization or a corporation, to your boss.

I am not necessarily saying there aren't secrative and clandestine organizations out there looking to subjugate or control the masses, but they certainly have become a crutch to rationalize why life can be so harsh. It must be something evil or out of my control....

People in a position of privilege will do anything they can to keep living the way they are. Wealth has been passed down for generations. These pockets of wealth will work with each other to help insure that things stay the way they are. You need to broaden your understanding of this "illuminati". While it's foolish to throw that term around vaguely at everything as has become fashion and easy to debunk as far as the borderline comical traits that have been attributed to this "group", as a real, functioning entity out to protect their wealth and power it is almost impossible to think they they wouldn't have some sort of strategy to keep things the way they are, considering the staggering advantages they've had to do so. All it really comes down to is people not wanting to give up their inherent place. Of course the rich help each other out. To what extent is up for your mind to wander over.

AS long as you can ignore their connection and relationships ,how their system work , how they have been social engineering for years , they don't exist.

Let me tell you what I believe in....human psychology. I believe in a natural distribution of those who are successful and wealthy versus those who are not. Wealth has a natural lifecycle, just like everything else.... Family lineage goes through evolution just like everything else. There is not and never has been a single family who has maintained both power and wealth, uncorrupted or "pure," throughout human history.

Nature is a great equalizer.....something we puny humans learn every time there is a tornado, hurricane, tsunami, etc.... For all of our ingenuity and technology, you can't take it beyond the grave.

So....no. I don't believe there is a group of "elites" who try to enslave masses of people and control the world, generation after generation after generation. The people you and others try to put at the head of this alleged conspiracy are just people....just like you. Some are not perfect, but who is? Many of them have given back to humanity through philanthropy in mind boggling proportions. Most have provided capital funding and jobs to so many... Why not look at the POSITIVE things they have done instead of only trying to categorize them as serial tyrants?

I follow your threads and comments, for your critical analytical mind is obvious,and therefore, I am always interested in what you have to say.

However, sometimes I do find you may betray a certain constant sentiment of defense that makes you SEEM like an illuminati cheerleader, of sorts, vis a vis comments about Rockefellers, etc.

And I'm neither dissing not judging that family, as I know none of them personally, and am the type who is careful to reserve judgement, if I have nothing other than what I'm spoon fed from external sources, second, third or whatever hand info.....before I discern what MAY BE true or what may not be. In other words, I try hard to keep my mind open......for many are judged by the "machine" of media, culture, politics, which has almost, in my estimation, become some kind of infection beyond all control or even the controllers of it, if such exist.... I'm not replying to you to debate that, one way or another.

I enjoyed and resonated with LizardSlicks response to you.

I find you extremely intelligent (not like my stupid mind is any judge, mind you), but am weary of you not seeming to recognize at least SOME conspiracy effort, and something, perhaps still undefinable to name......

And that brings me to my point: labels, stereotypes, what I call "slotting."

Language is a powerful tool. How we connect, and disconnect. You and I have explored the same kinds of thread exploring this concept down to its bones. Obviously, to me, there is some manipulation of external and personal internal life going on here. That is all I would wish you to admit to, or perhaps, see. There is a reason we are watched the way we are, our information collected, collated and dispersed to one agency or another....and surely, we can agree, now, this is truly happening. It isn't just because those agencies are full of voyeurs, or looking for some kind of ethereal justice to keep people "safe." Is it? Can we at least agree upon that.
Stereotypes are reinforced daily, in a variety of external, circumstantial, public, dogmatic, religious, media, advertising ways, daily. Would you agree, at least to that? What would you think would be the purpose of that?

Do you believe in quantum, theoretical physics, or the possibility of a sentient quantum computer?

For all these questions, really, address on a deeper level what your thread is about. Can we agree it seems we are repeating certain history, repetitively, and without any labelling of any group, or pointing any fingers, agree that is occurring?


And I wonder what you think of nature, really? Let me explain. A few years ago, a certain celebrity did a documentary type film on insects and invertebrates, flies, earthworms, etc, and their "social" or breeding habits and biology. Such as,certain mollusks displaying downright sadistic/masochistic mating behaviour, stabbing their mates, to inject the necessary sperm or component to fertilize the female's eggs.......

I bring this up, because I am a middle aged woman, and when I studied biology in college years ago, this was not a part of the lexicon of the habits of mollusk mating in any way whatsoever.....as though "nature" has, in fact, evolved into something totally different than those of us old enough to remember who studied those biological processes at one time, ever remember it being this exploitative.......

So let me be so kind to answer.... First, you do yourself a disservice to call your mind "stupid." While you and I may disagree about some points, I wouldn't call you such a derogatory term by any means.

To say that I do not believe in conspiracy, as a general term, is false. I have knowledge of and been subject to conspiracies. I try to take certain procedures to protect my anonymity because I want my words to be weighed and measured the same as anyone and everyone else. That being said, I have posted certain information about myself and my life so that others reading my posts will understand my perspective. I am a business owner. My background is engineering (electrical & computer) and physics (nanotechnology, biophysics). [Side note - that should answer your question about theoretical physics and quantum computing... ] Outside of my regular work, I do research in electromagnetics and brain-computer interface. In my regular day-to-day work, my company provides certain services within following industries - banking, law enforcement, government, healthcare, education, military, and corporate. I work very intimately with government in the realm of national security.

This is the point where people usually start calling me "government shill" or "disinformation agent." I've even been called the Bride of Satan. I consider myself a true American. I believe in the Constitution. I believe in a free, democratic world....a world where the someone born into the realm of poverty can earn their way to wealth and success through ingenuity and hard work. I believe it because I have seen it, many times. I have also seen and experienced the very real threats that our country faces on a daily basis. Threats that are both seen and unseen to the average citizen.

Whether you are looking at global humanity or society-at-large (aren't they intertwined?), you see the same dynamic.... It also ties into a very important "rule" I was taught growing up....that being "those at the top wear a heavy,lonely crown and have few friends." Whether you are a superpower, a corporate king, or just the most popular kid in your high school, there will ALWAYS be those people who want to usurp your position. Power (and wealth) are transitory energies....meaning you constantly have to fight to keep what you have or someone else will take it from you. Sometimes that "someone else" just might want to wipe you from the face of the earth.

But that only further emphasizes that people...humanity....is a predictable process. Families like the Rothschilds and Rockefellers aren't any different from you, your neighbor across the street, or any kid at the beach on a sociological level. They have built something. It doesn't really matter what it is. It is something (in this case, a business...an industry....whatever). They are proud of their accomplishment or the accomplishments of their family. This something provides for their families. It gives them security and stability. It gives them purpose. It is what defines the very basis of their identity in many cases. And they are faced with the real reality that others would take it from them in a heartbeat because [fill in justification here.] Sometimes those justifications may be legitimate, sometimes (many times) they are simply psychological band-aids to make you feel better about wanting to take that something from the someone who has it. [note - this "understanding" of human behavior should also answer LizardSlicks response about why they hold onto what they have so dearly...]

Have you ever read any of the works of C.G. Jung? He talks about the breakdown of the human psychology in a brilliant way. There is the persona - the face/personality we show the world. The anima/animus - our animal instinct (relate this to your mollusk story). The shadow - the antithesis (almost) of the anima/animus...our "dark side." And the true Self. Many who study esoteric wisdom will also tell you that the world is based up on a "microcosm of the macrocosm." This means that the same patterns of life are identical from the smallest atom to the largest galaxy. It is the golden ratio. The life processes you see in humans are part of a formula that is duplicated all over the universe. This exists outside of any "elite group" and any/every human being is subject to it.

Now, I am not intending to get all philosophical in a thread that is about very concrete issues. I'm just trying to explain why I do not "see" any alleged group who is capable of the things they get blamed for. What I see....honestly see through an understanding of human psychology, sociology, and universal laws of nature....is people acting like people.

People who are no different than you or anyone else on ATS. They are trying to protect what defines them and gives them purpose. You might do something differently, but until you stand in their shoes with their life experiences....you can't say that they are wrong, evil, whatever. You can only judge them through the eyes of your own experiences and understanding.

I'm not saying anything and everything they do is golden and smells like roses. But I *am* trying to give a balanced view to the discussions that take place. If someone wants to talk about alleged "evil deeds," I'm willing to do that and take a critical look at it. But I also think it is important to point out any POSITIVE deeds or actions they have done too... Wouldn't you want to be treated that way? Why should they receive less courtesy than you would give yourself or your family & friends?

ETA - forgot to address another important point. Rich people don't necessarily "help out" other rich people as a standard way of business. More often than not, their businesses or goals (personal, public, or corporate) are intertwined...meaning it is in their best interest to ensure the other succeeds as it direct affects their own success or failure. Sometimes they are friends, but that usually isn't the case. To better understand the dynamics of why things work this way, I'd suggest looking into the science of networks. There are some pretty good articles about it as understanding of this phenomena is relatively new (within the past decade).

You and I have been on many of the same threads, just to say, I already know your background as you have explained it before. May I say here, that we have many shared experiences and professional linked points.....at one time. from my point of view. Clear enough? What happens to people like us when we "break rank," so to speak? I am sure you know. The difference between us, for I used to share your sentiments, more than you know, is I lost faith. Suffered a loss of faith and belief in everything you express eloquently after what I quoted you describe above, about believing in America, the constitution, etc., and no longer, for certain reasons and experiences, had faith in those who were "guarding" that particular aspect of where we are, here in this representative republic......

Having said that, I am well aware that there are many with different motivations, from private industry, to government and all its attendant "alphabet" agencies, supposedly designed to "protect" us from all the threats you describe, of which I am very well aware.

In other words, even within the entity we describe as government, and certain guarded, secretive agencies employed to protect those interests, for me---at least---there was a defining moment, I think, described perfectly well, by a former president, of "spreading freedom," when the very vernacular used showed and illustrated we were not really, any longer, speaking of freedom, as most of us understand that concept, at all.
