A mob marched nuns through the battle-torn streets of Cairo ‘like prisoners of war’ in the latest outrage against Egypt’s Christian minority. Sister Manal, principal of a Franciscan school in suburban Cairo, watched for six hours as a mob looted the building, knocked the cross off the gate and replaced it with a black banner resembling the flag of Al Qaeda.
The classrooms were then burned to the ground and the women taken away, attracting a crowd of abusive onlookers. Police told Sister Manal that the nuns had been targeted by hardline Islamists, convinced that they had given Muslim children an inappropriate education. ‘We are nuns. We rely on God and the angels to protect us,’ she said. ‘At the end, they paraded us like prisoners of war and hurled abuse at us as they led us from one alley to another without telling us where they were taking us.’
Siblings Wardah and Bedour, two Christian women employed by the school, also found themselves having to fight their way through the mob while being groped, hit and insulted by the extremists.
He’s no moderate, but here he is (Muzammil Siddiqi) — selected of all Muslims to be the guy who’s the representative of that faith in the interfaith ecumenical memorial service three days after 9/11. Everybody who was anybody was there, including this top Muslim Brotherhood operative.
But that’s not enough. Here he is in the White House, a couple of days later, giving George W. Bush a Koran — in the course of which George W. Bush, for reasons I’ll get into in a moment, started saying things — not started, but repeated things like — the teachings of Islam are the teachings of peace and good. Repeat after me. Right? Well, that’s pretty much what he was doing.

This trend to acquiesce to the Muslin Brotherhood didn't start with Obama Administration though!

I'm sorry but the World would be a much better place without US intervention.

I don't know what the point was for parading them around.
Odds are you're right, but I remember some of the riots in the "civilized" US, which could go on for days. They were just demonstrations of hate and anger and violence, no political thinking. And those riots were without the tacit approval of the government.
First, the M.B. believe they'll be back in power. That's obvious or none of thise would HAVE meaning except chaos and death for it's own sake. I consider them morally bankrupt and scum..but not evil in the sense that would require.
It seems then, that when they talk about tolerance for other religions and a desire for peace, they could be taking one of two paths. Either they know they are lying, and are buying time in order to spread more death and destruction, or they somehow believe that tolerance for other religions involves killing its adherents. This latter path, of course, describes insanity.
Second, and inline to #1? They want the Christians OUT. In no uncertain terms or vague meanings on ANY level, they are making it clear as crystal. In their mind, the sands of Greater Arabia and the North African nations are for the feet of true Muslims. Never shall an infidel's foot make impression in their scared soil....or so you'll hear the more vocal ones spout when they have a receptive audience.
The M.B. high leadership has the sense to keep that talk quiet...but that hardly extends to the lower toads in their little pond.
