Someone needs to do a serious study on what would happen to the internet/world without Google.
This is not a joke anymore, as majority is addicted to this monster...

Google is the new Microsoft, except for the fact that they don't just consistently annoy their customer base (besides the giving over of private info to the government which no one outside this website seems to care about).

Because when I get spam/phish/virus emails from hacked email accounts, they always end in "@yahoo.com"

Yahoo sucks because Google went down? I feel like I am missing something here!!

I think what this illustrates is that people are idiots. I know about a dozen people who use Google as their landing page. Rather than type a url in the navigation bar, they'll invariably type it in the Google search bar—as if they don't even know what the navigation bar is.

This incident tells me that people are even stupider than previously thought: If Google's down they think the Internet's gone....
