Yes. I have been operating with this theory as fact for about a year now. Check this out:

Strauss-Howe Generational Theory

It uses 20 year cycles, with 4 cycles per turning. As a math and physics minor, I am also wondering if the 80 year cycles next to each other have some opposite traits regarding time and such. A bit complicated.

But go back 80 years, to around 1933, and you will find that we were just getting out of The Great Depression (kind of) had a decade of prosperity behind us, and Hitler is about to get sworn in as Supreme Leader.

For the 20 year or so similarity, It would work kind of like... similar but opposite, and maybe different. So it could mean:

*A real virus spreads
*Rebellions in New York with opposite political affiliations
*Russia goes in to Afghanistan and the Middle-East while the U.S. withdraws
*Berlin is the center of controversy involving the collapsing Euro

they just seem like some random events that only have a 25 year gap as commonality?

These are just random events. You could find patterns using 1 year, 5 year, 500 year, etc intervals if you look hard enough.

Is there ever a year where nothing at all happened?

There isn't such a year. We may know little about events in the very early history but there is no such a year.

Just random events that happened every 25yrs! Anyone could come up with random lists of events over any time period! With enough research strightforward to do

Cool. I don't think they are just random events. They all seem to have a lot in common. The Chernobyl nuclear disaster and the Fukushima disaster were 25 years apart. The invention of the bicycle and automobile were 25 years apart. Those are not just random events with nothing in common other than being seperated by 25 years. Some people are just very dense sometimes. I know I can be.

So, the two most important Revolutions happened 25 years apart, Napoleon fall is 25 years after French Revolution, Rocket locomotive revolutionizes transport 25 years after the first steam train, cars are invented 25 years after Bike, the biggest object that ever flied was destroyed 25 years after the biggest object on the water sanked, world war 2 starts 25 years after world war 1, Chile has 3 huge earthquakes 25 years apart twice, a metro in Japan is attacked with gas 25 years after another Japan metro esploded because of gas leak, the two most important funerals in history were 25 years apart, the two worst nuclear accidents were 25 years apart.

But, of course, it is all random. Randomness does NOT exist. You people are weird.

Another example is Michael Jackson hair on fire 1984 and Michael Jackson death 25 years after in 2009.
