About three weeks ago I bet over $16,000 on "new sprint" (S) whom mr. Song bought 78% of "Sprint" at the open ...I went all in...It went to $7.26 in short order (as I thought it might) and oh...Yeah!!! I got me (I bought in at $5.79) over $3600.00 for my 2762 shares!!

Mhmm, I do. I'm in my mid 40's and while I wasn't on the market (such a terrible saying lol) for long, a lot of my friends, both male and female, have found themselves in your boat. A lot of them ended up dating each other to avoid the tawdry scene of nightclubs, bars, and sometimes awful ambiguity of the dating scene. As one male friend of mine put it, "I went through that in my early 20's. I don't want go back to that again...I'm too old for that stuff."

Before I was married I dated a woman that had to little girls (her x was a Marine that left her) she was terrific and made me see stars (if you know what I mean) like nobody else since (how'd she do that?)

Part of that attitude could come with age. Dignity can be terrible overrated, inhibiting and well, not a whole lot of fun. Doesn't hurt to throw it to the wayside now and then and just be a human being without all the b.s. Life is way more fun that way. Of course, because of that, I've developed a reputation among my friends of being eccentric. I'm cool with that rep though.

Been laughing about your facebook experiences. Had similar issues with it myself when I was on it despite having the triple deterrent of being a. engaged, b. have two kids and c. really freaking smart. If I had a dollar for every time some guy from way back in high school came along sniffing, I'd be a very rich woman. I got pretty sick of hearing the "I had the biggest crush on you in high school but I was too scared to ask you out...". Although I'm sure that they meant it as a compliment, a part of me couldn't help but think, "If you thought I was so scary back then that you couldn't ask me out...what do you think I am now? Desperate? " Luckily, my fiance was an excellent human shield. He's younger than I so most just conceded that I was a very lucky woman in having such a young stud. Maybe I should feel worse for my fiance because he was equated to being an animal, lol. Hmmm...

Look. Be realistic. You were married for 29 years? Do you honestly expect to find someone at your age WITHOUT kids? Indeed, most will have grown kids and now grandkids! At your age it goes with the program, buddy!

Absolutely be careful, especially in this economy. My dad has had some issues with interest in him being more monetary than in him personally. Wasn't good for his ego at all though he's kind of an arse so that could've been karma. Never know, lol.

Funny how if you mention to someone that you frequent a conspiracy site you'll sound like a nutjob to them. But if that someone is also a member here, I can see hours and hours of fun conversation.

I always figured that ATS might eventually have a forum for this, there is only one conspiracy dating site (no T&C breaking so I will not mention it). but believe me the site its related to, I think I would take my chances here on ATS.

Good luck, and though I agree with schuyler (which I almost never do ) I think its true about dating woman with kids, thats a tough one.
