Tragic indeed. I still haven't put the pieces together why the Egyptian Army are bulldozing Mosques, perhaps that's where the t̶e̶r̶r̶o̶r̶i̶s̶t̶s̶ Pro-Morsi supporters are hiding.

There are sooo many. I have a very hard time believing it was in any way spontaneous or undirected.

This strikes me as a move they wanted to make for a long time in showing Christians the exit door and help OUT of Egypt. After all, an Islamist state can't very well function in the way they do if there is a measurable Christian segment to the population. Ask Lebanon how that one works out.

Meanwhile in the REAL real world had Christians burned down mosques the Islamic world would have come unglued.

Did you see what happens when the Quran gets burned?

mosques and goverment buildings have been torched as well

stop plugging the christan card... it has nothing to do with them

Allah forbid!

Don't forget its alright when Shia and Sunni wage war with each other, and destroy their Mosques or blow them selves up in them.

Instant Martyrdom!

The only time a Mosque can be destroyed.......

Indeed a christian church get's burned down and they act quite differently than their counterparts with mosques.

True enough they also riot, and do wose things in the streets if a qu'ran or mosque is 'desecrated'

Big difference's between the two.

BIG.

True.

Islam is lagging behind compared to Christianity. About 400 years, give or take.

Islam still has a long way to go in the process of becoming a belief system compatible with the 21st century...

*ETA to avoid appearing as islamophobic:

...which makes Christianity the slighty less disabled brother. I guess.

Christian Churches weren't burned out and totally destroyed because they just happened to sit next to a Government building. They were attacked and destroyed SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE they were Christian places of worship.

So there isn't a "Christian Card" to plug among the burnt out wrecks of SO many churches. There is a card being plugged to pretend like nothing happened or that these bastards don't run on HATE...but that wouldn't be my card. I try and stick with reality....not defending those who would burn it down.

"I'll take atheism any day over moronic power hungry monkeys."

Like Stalin and Mao!

There have been plenty of opportunists that used religion, but we are better off when leaders fear God.

Any atheist would be glad to know that those 6 big black guys coming toward him down the street about
midnight came from a Bible study, not a gang bang.

It doesn't appear that any leader I know of fears God.
-examples of a leader of a country that fears God enough as to not flex their political muscle?
-anyone?

That's a very odd question, so I must not have understood it.

It doesn't appear that any leader I know of fears God.-examples of a leader of a country that fears God enough as to not flex their political muscle?
That seems like asking if a God fearing leader can employ chemistry or physics.

I don't see anything wrong with a Godly leader using politics and diplomatic strength in a given situation. The Pope worked together with Lech Walesa to support the Solidarity movement in Poland, and was considered a key player in working with Reagan and Thatcher in bringing about the fall of the Berlin Wall.

The current Pope used his position as an Archbishop to bring about social reforms.

I don't see where the conflict is.

P.s.

I'll take atheism any day over moronic power hungry monkeys.
Into which of those categories would you place Barack Obama?

Let them burn them down. Sadly, many Christians will be persecuted, and many will die in these last days. But, buildings mean nothing to God. He wants us, His children.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17(AKJV)
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
