Tech enhancement.

Is anyone familiar with Ray Kurzweil? He is the guy who is advocating humans merging with robotics and ultimately human robots/cyborgs. He would be a techno optimist. How'd would he solve Kaczynski's (unabomber) dilemma? Kaczynski had a bleak view on technology itself.

Kurzweil seems mildly optimistic about our future. However, one of the last times there was a confluence of genetics and technology the end result was truly monstrous. I am wondering if anything you find in Kurzweil could mute the experiments conducted in Nazi Germany?
