When I was a child, a Coke was considered an occasional treat. Now kids are brainwashed into thinking it is something they need. I got maybe one Coke a week. Now kids don't know water is refreshing lol. My partner's kids used to act like we were abusing them if we didn't buy them Coke or Pepsi. We showed them how much sugar is actually in one can of soda. They stopped asking after that lol.

Well hugging a Coke machine is just a little weird.

My vice is Coke Zero when i get tired of drinking water. Yeah, it's probably not real good for me but i like it and we all die eventually anyway.

My three adult children got the brains, they drink nothing but water.

God... Why does every soft drink have to be so malicious? I prefer Blue Sky, myself. But I don't want to give an endorsement. It could be it's owned by Monsanto and I've made a horrible mistake.

What if there was a mandatory age for soft drinks? That'd be a laugh. Different, certainly, in some alternate universe.

I am a Diet Coke addict - and I'm not kidding. There's something in Diet Coke that addicts people. It's beyond a psychological attachment.

Yes they have to brain wash people into good feelings about their product. Why would someone buy it otherwise. Most people know it's not good for their health and if you think about it, it's doesn't taste that great. It's more of an acquired taste like with coffee.

Anyway, Coke has a "frequent drinker" program called my coke rewards where you collect points for contests or prizes by drinking coke products.

It reminds my of the loyalty programs cigarette companies used to market.

Not even just kids. My grandparents drink tons of diet coke and I don't think i've ever seen them even drink water. Then they wonder why they're always ill and having to go to the doctors - effectively adding to the strain of the NHS if you ask me. Can't remember the last time I had to go to the doctors over something, and I don't go without stuff, just don't live on it. Least kids have a chance at change, these old guys have got over half a century of programming to get past.

Could be the coca leaves, could be the kola nut, could be the aspartame... All addictive ingredients from what I know.

If you have a tv, radio, or drive by a billboard you are an experiment for brainwashing.

Governments and corporations do a fine job in swaying the masses.

They have it figured out.

you should go outside and get a bit of air... your attitude towards coke is as unhealthy as those who you claim to worship it.

I didn't even know this machine existed.... simply because i don't drink pop.

however if people want to sure why not.

you are a strange bird.

A hug is a near universal form of physical intimacy, in which two people put their arms around the neck, back, or waist of one another and hold each other closely

So the next time the innocently brainwashed, potential customers have a hug, they may well possibly share a coco-cola together or have coke subconsciously in there thoughts.

I don't drink coca-cola, I think soft drinks are a huge bane on human health today. Your post about coca-cola reminded me of this video:

Pearl Of The Orient - 1955 Philippine's Culture / Educational Documentary

Educational film by the Coca-Cola company that shows how Philippine culture has been influenced by this well known beverage.

Nothing like some corporate propaganda post WW2 from the USA to get their new "friends" hooked on Western products.

This then is the story of refreshement, of Coca-Cola a quality product, pure and wholesome. A story of a friendly product, delicious and refreshing. A story of partners in progress with all Philippine industry providing employment for thousands of people in many industries, contributing to the progress of the country, and in the future as it always does, Coca-Cola will continue to bring more pleasure, more enjoyment to more people everywhere and Coca-Cola is everywhere in the Philippines.

It may be Aspartame. Aspartame is the replacement for sugar in diet coke and it's actually worse than sugar.

I've cut coke from my diet along time ago. I'd rather have an ice cold beer or some tequila. I'd rather take my chances with alcohol then those other soft drinks.

Viral marketing even works when you show the item to a group of people and decry it... like say this topic... all of us are just bumping the marketing plan being pushed on us... I feel dirty now.

Coca Cola has anti-Christ messages encoded In its logo. Google how its says "No muhammed No Mecca" in a different language. Three 6's can easily be found. The first C in Coca is actually lips, and the rest of the logo is a phallus. Similar to the logo ESPN, which is P E N I S without the I. Also the ESPN logo is actually a lady bent over (SPN) bending over for the (E). ESPN go google image it

I know I'll be mocked. Coca Cola is one of the few sacred cows we have left in America. Fizzy sugar water, which once had coc aine in it. What an institution. What a tradition.

You strike me as a shill, pal. Maybe I have an unhealthy attitude towards corporate lies, but you have an unhealthy tendency to trust advertising. I see it for what it is, no matter how unpleasant the undertone.

Can anyone tell me WHY that Coke is such an american icon, though?

We are truly an indoctrinated nation in regards to that.

Nobody wants to talk out against Coke. It's old timey, and everywhere. Well, so is herpes.

I see a Coca Cola sign, I know I'm in the tentacles of imperialism. The East Indian Tea company, modern day.

If corporations are legally people, then why can they not be put on trial for murder? Like Isidro Gil being shot at the entrance to the Coca Cola bottling plant. If the murder had been placed at the feet of Coke, what would they do? The evidence certainly didn't look good. A prominent union activist, having his head blown off by hired guns. Why only this particular union leader in what Coke calls a random attack by paramilitaries? O.J. had a better alibi. Hell, Phil Spector had a better alibi.

Convict the corporate "person" that is Coke. While we're at it, convict the Shell oil company for murdering Ken Saro-Wiwa. There ought to be a zero tolerance policy for murders authorized by the Corporate Machine. John Delorean went to prison for smuggling kohkaine under the alms of his car company. Why not Coke? Or Shell?

Why? Because money is what determines the verdict. A malignant forest has sprouted from the roots of all evil that they line their coffers with. We will be owned by the corporate machine in our life time. ATS, brought to you by Monsanto.

Grifter, brought to you by Omni-Consumer-Products.
