Only heard of these guys last week (I know, but I don't listen to the radio anymore), but they are brilliant. Well worth a listen.

Then of course there is the absolutely brilliant Passenger. This guy is a lyrical genius. I could listen to him for hours.

Each video posted creates a bit more work for the computer while loading up the page. Just a lil suggestion, but maybe you could try posting 2 or 3 videos into the post, and then maybe just post the links for the remaining (-/+)4823 songs?

I listen to a ton of different stuff. What styles of music do you like? What are some songs you like, even? There is a lot from the 80's that is awesome (yeah, I'm an 80's girl), and tons from other eras that is good as well. Softer stuff? Heavier? Classical? Country? Anything from Kansas is good, OLD Styx (as in, with Dennis DeYoung) is good. I like Mumford & Sons; most of the "Sigh No More" album is awesome.

Try this one - if you are not looking for easy listening

Good luck with the search. It is an awfully huge haystack but there are many exceptional needles to find. I can understand you asking for ideas. Sometimes the best music gets little coverage. I also try to look well below the surface of popular opinion.

Some songs in OM are Namaste by Beastie Boys, Within You Without You by the Beatles, and a great one is the Concert for Bangladesh, Ravi Shankar. Most European live Jimi Hendrix recordings are also properly tuned. Enjoy, Namaste.
