With all the bad stuff we are bombarded with on a daily basis, I love it when a cool heartwarming story/video comes along. An autistic man bravely attempts to sing the national anthem before a Red Sox game on Disability Awareness Day. He starts having a little trouble and the crowd spontaneously joins in to help the man out.

As someone who works with disabled students at the university level, it warms my heart to see all these strangers together helping this man out. It would be nice if all of us could put aside our differences for the common good more often. I feel our society has become so jaded and self-centered, but it's things like this that has restored my hope for humanity.

I'm not big on baseball, but I wish I had been at this event, that would have been awesome.
