This is a letter, written by a Canadian housewife, to her local newspaper. I read it on Facebook and thought to myself, this pretty much reflects my feelings on the subject and I'll share it with ATS.

"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was
it or was it not, started by Islamic people who
brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001
and have continually threatened to do so since?

Were people from all over the world, not brutally murdered
that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from
the capitol of the USA and in a field in Pennsylvania ?

If it's not a propaganda piece, she's/he's/it's obviously been exposed to far too much mindphunk by the mainstream media. These are the type of mindless individuals that George Orwell wrote about.

Very uplifting to see that there are others that view things in the same light as we do. Each one adds strength and hope for a revival of that much maligned concept of "patriot".

Possibly takes the cake for THE most unintelligent, close minded, gullible, and hypocritical drivel I've ever read.

This woman wants Muslims (whom she is convinced are responsible for 9/11....?) to care about her Bible, and about her religion, even after she insists repeatedly that she doesn't and won't care about their Koran.

What kind of "Christian" attitude is that? Aren't you supposed to turn the other cheek, set a better example for your enemy? Be the bigger person?

How is this whole "I don't care" attitude going to gain the respect and compassion from the people she is demanding respect and compassion from? If I was born in any country outside of America, I would hate America. You know how I know that? Because I was born in America and I still hate America. We are the only true terrorists of the world. A group of Muslims hiding in caves did not outsmart and out strategize the most advanced military in the world, and if you believe that it's as simple as that then why haven't other hate groups had successful attacks on America on such a large scale? Hell if it's as easy as living in a cave with comparitively no technological capabilities, then ANYONE should be able to just infiltrate America like that.

It looks that way when the first part of the timeline is lopped off. Most people never took the time to understand the history that led up to 2001.

Those soldiers are not defending anyone's freedom.
They are blowing up countries that were pretty peaceful (in comparison to their immediate neighbors)
they are killing civilians more than terrorists 10:1
they are coming back mentally scarred because they know it was for nothing but making rich men richer

This "letter/article" is nothing more than pro war propaganda based on lies and deceipt to justify our murderous crusade in the Middle East.

Whoever wrote this is ignorat to the facts, or are purposely attempting to forward an agenda.

Well I guess we call that the rednecked attitude. I do care about any abuse to human life and dignity, except the theocracy is not a religion, its a fascist barbaric system that abuses women and children and a crime against humanity, but there are moderates, mystics and metaphoric free muslims, they're just being systematically destroyed by the coalition between the nazi's (now our bankers, cia and black ops) and a fundamental brotherhood group, as our PTB love this, this is their tool to reset civilization OR create tons of divisions between people.

So while I respect spirituality, not into any religions, despise theocracies and abuse of women and children there is nothing that would compel me to send her letter around since she seems to stick up for Christianity, which is Love, yet doesn't care and endorses torture, abuse of bodies, and horrible methods of treating any prisoner or any occupied territory. SORRY I DO CARE, about every single man woman and child on this planet and that everyone is healed, deprogrammed from the lies, equalized, given land and aquaponics, food, clean energy and not required to be slaves to any corporation but choose what to develop as skills, retrain in and volunteer in and take the timeouts for health and family needed. For only hellzones operate like this and there is no endorsing evil possible.

I care that the banks go by by, that TPTB either disclose and equalize and seek assylum or go to prison.

I care that no wars of aggression ever take place on earth soil again.

And by the way 9/11 was an inside job!

Sad to think that there are still some Canadians in my country so willfully uninformed, maybe if the women starts seeing the world for what it really is maybe just maybe she will pull her head from her ass. In fact maybe even talk to a returning soldier from Afghanistan, I have. Ask them what they were tasked with doing. Simple hint Frank Lucas had friends just like them.....

I am well aware of who started it and I know terrorists didn't do this without a little "inside help". My feelings are, why does 4 soldiers urinating on a body get so much publicity and condemnation, when they can drag ours through the street, after beating and torturing and it not get the same publicity? Behead people just for being a different religion. Do I really have to go into detail about radical Islam? Yes, I know we're not there defending freedom. Just to be perfectly honest, I wish we were out of there and leave them to their own devices. You have your opinion, I have mine. Flame away.

I guess you just don't get it.

"We" don't agree with everything being done by various agencies in the U.S. gov't by a long shot. But, as your post points out, only the negatives, never anything positive.

The U.S. is "EVIL". I say garbage!!

I live in this country and over 1 million LEGAL immigrants enter it each year. Anyone else even close?? Nope.

A patriot wants this country back to where it once was. Getting rid of those that have crossed the line. (OUR line. Not some non-U.S. consensus of what "our" line should be.)

The rest either want a destruction of the U.S. or some homogenized version that is acceptable to the rest of the world. Fitting "some comfort" zone that has nothing to do with the ideals that still draw people from all over the world.

The irony is people with similar views as yours repeat the same nonsense. You automatically assume that I am pro-war or "brainwashed" by the govt. which is just an asinine statement. It sounds to me as if you are brainwashed into believing everything the govt. does is evil.

I know there are many faults with the U.S. but I also find many good things about my country. I get tired of people criticizing everything the U.S. does so yeah if you don't like it, if it is that bad then get the f**k out.

you forgot to mention all of the same done by drone attacks launched by distant so called "christian" countries and you also neglected to post any proof the tradgedies you mentioned were actually committed by Muslims...
