Hmmm...God's law...by proxy Christian law..says :" thou shall not kill" - so which part of this did you miss if you ever thought that the army were christian? You cant claim to be serving God while breaking all his laws....well you can ..and you can keep conning people into believing you...but that doesn't make it the truth...there is no 'amendment' to that law, one that says "except if you are government or military"..just don't kill..period...so what's the problem?
The sad irony in this..is that the law of Leviticus she wrote about in her fb was not a law let alone Gods law - the law handed to Moses - it was instead an annotation of tribal lore, a verse taken from the early Talmud...not Gods big ten..of which there are only ten..will only ever be ten...encapsulated in full and fulfilled via one command - love one another.
Sad to see people using the name christian..who don't live what they they would preach..a shame to see them condemning..instead of following Christs actual example...it's a shame.but not unexpected..when your ego sets your view to be higher than gods view..the outcomes pretty simple.edit on 7-8-2013 by Rosha because: (no reason given)

I hate to tell you I'm not wrong. You yourself just admitted that the military discriminates against Christians.
Neither was I bashing. Just stating the facts and if you look at your previous posts you will see that you agree with me.
I'm not even saying take my word for it. Take the words you have written for it. Discrimination in any form is wrong. You are simply discriminating against her for her belief and so is the military!
Judging Others
1“Do not judge so that you will not be judged.2“For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.3“Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?4“Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ and behold, the log is in your own eye?5“You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. 6“Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.
Prayer and the Golden Rule
7“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.8“For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.9“Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone?10“Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he?11“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him! 12“In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
The Narrow and Wide Gates
13“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.14“For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it. A Tree and Its Fruit 15“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.16“You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?17“So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.18“A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.19“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.20“So then, you will know them by their fruits. 21“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.22“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’23“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’

If any of us had any doubt about the US Military being Anti-Christian this latest debacle puts all of this to rest.
A 26-year-old chaplain’s assistant, who asked not to be identified, said her commander ordered her to either remove the Facebook message or a UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice).
This is all regarding her Facebook comment regarding G_D's message that homosexuality is a sin.
radio.foxnews.com...
She states that she is an evangelical Christian, and, " she returned home from church on Sunday and was watching a documentary about a minister who endorsed homosexuality." Feeling insulted by this gross and negligent abomination, she wrote in her Facebook page," A lot ticked off, now to all my gay friends you know I care about you so don’t think otherwise. I’m watching this documentary and this gay guy went to a church and the Pastor was telling him that he needs to embrace his way and know that it is not a sin. Ok umm wow, dude it is. I’m sick of people making Gods word what it’s not. Yes God loves you as a person but He hates the sin. Tired of hearing about Pastors being ok with homosexuality.” Her CO has left her an ultimatum. It seems that those who scream and rant intolerance, are not tolerant of the Christian world.
Hypocrisy at it's best.
There is an old saying as old as military service itself.
There are no athiest's in a foxhole.

And for the record since that first amendment guarantees the right to say whatever they want and worship however they want anyone's condemnation is rather hollow.

It doesn't matter it is still a private page.
The real question is : should she have to give up her right to freedom of expression to appease some one else.
Should some one who is gay give up being gay because it offends some one?
That is the crap you are spewing.
Think before you type.
You are as bigoted as any one else is as long as it suits your purpose. You only prove my point!
Oh ya by the way this thread is not about being gay as much as you would like to make it so.

DoD Directive 1325.6 also attempts to regulate participation in “organizations that espouse supremacist causes; attempt to create illegal discrimination based on race, creed, color, sex, religion or national origin; advocate the use of force or violence; or otherwise engage in efforts to deprive individuals of their civil rights.” (RoD p.80)
