My name mean dark, or black-skinned.

It was going to be something else, but when I was born, I was jaundiced and looked very 'indian'. (A, B, O - incompatibility thing). My biological father denounced me, saying I couldn't be his. He had blond hair, green eyes - Finnish. When I was finally released from the hospital and UV lights three weeks later, all my dark hair fell out and came in dark blonde and my skin lightened up quite a bit. But I still have my mothers Slavic dark coloring, as my hair darkened back up as I grew older and I've her brown eyes. Actually, I look very, very much like my mother. Eerily so. So much so, that complete strangers have stopped me who knew my mother when she was younger, and ask if I was related.

The last is also celtic for "village on a hilltop".

My name means maiden as in greek, basically the daughter of zeus and demeter/ceres/gaia, who was kidnapped by the king of the underworld and demeter would not bring the spring until she got her daughter back. Also in polynesian it means sparkling water. I prefer the polynesian one.

My name means "he will add", and, well, yeah, I can add. And subtract. And multiply. And divide. I can also work out word problems, and solve for x!

In a spiritual sense, sure, I have added. I've been instrumental (along with others) in organizing a new spiritual system, and in helping a (growing) handful of people find their personal-deity and path.

In reality, I was named after a character in a movie though, ha ha. So, yeah, take it however you want.

My name means ,I am the light inside the house.

My birth name is John and it means "graced by Yahweh." However, I want to change it to Jonathan because it sounds rich. Jonathan means "YHWH has given."

Apparently, my name David, means BELOVED................but I think I am more suited to an anagram of BELOVED, which is BED LOVE..... now that sounds much more like it...........certainly not BED VOLE..
