Favourite fast cars

I guess this will come across as a European thing but fast cars are fast cars so feel free to chip in from across the pond. Here are some of my faves which on reflection may not be regarded as fast like a ferrari or lamborghini but they are real world average person fast.

I'm not really an auto enthusiast, (I'm a Harley guy), but I have a friend who drives one of these and twice when I've ridden with him some poor guy wanted to race. It was embarrassing for them.

I am buying a sports car next summer. My wife and I agreed on a budget. Needless to say I will not be buying a used Countach, nor a Ford GT, I can, however, buy a used Corvette. I will be going for anything 2005 or newer.

Great choices guys including the scooby and the lancia.

Have to wholeheartedly agree with the OP on his choice of cars,has a 2.8 capri and numerous other fast fords but my favourite of them all was the RS Sapphire Cosworth I had,RWD obviously !!

Anyway here's a couple more to add



Forget you Series 1 RS Turbo,the RS1600i may not have as much power and slightly slower performance figures on paper but it was a faster car in real life on the road terms !!



When the police call for a car to be banned because it's too powerful you know it's a fast car.lol
