LIsten, had I grown up in NYC I wouldn't have done much without a degree. I have the benefit of living in a smaller town and just being a big fish in a little pond. I earned my stripes running a call center, starting from agent trainee and working my way up. Late nights, hard work.....

So I will admit that I have the benefit of some geography. But I hold my assertion that based on my own experience, as well as others (such as Bill Gates), that a college degree has a value that is relative.

I won't go into my opinion about how the standardization of college curriculum has created one large culture of "group think" among the more affluent members of our society, and the dangers that lie in having high level employment being a "club" requiring a diploma as a ticket for admission, as the in depth discussion would absolutely be insulting.

But having said that, my oldest son is a senior at Texas Tech.

Maybe some one should point out to the witless feebleminded twerps that the reason they're around today to sign such iniquitous+straight out demonic petitions are because others had the good grace to refrain from murdering THEM when they were newborns.

4th trimester abortions are already legal in many states....and preformed by the states via lethal injection and the like

Higher education bends the statistics in favor of getting a livable wage. not an absolute, but it puts high favor in working in a place that you actually like and make decent wages off of.

You don't need university to achieve success, in the same way you don't need a ladder to get on top of a roof...you will however find it a hell of a lot easier with the degree/ladder.

Actually, the latest thing is to bypass the typical university unless you know exactly what you want, and that is something like doctor or the like and instead go to a trade school to attain a trade profession. faster, focused, less bills, start work ready, etc. So, it really depends.
Incidentally, I count trade schools as higher education.
University is good, higher education is required, and neither will mean you have to simply have lots of luck with hard work (hard work alone for low education doesn't cut it in most environments)

you're right....their mother MADE THE CHOICE to have them, because THE CHOICE was legal and still is.

That would be legalizing murder. All hell would break loose if that actually was legalized.

Please explain what you are actually talking about. Because murdering an infant after its born, is not legal anywhere in the western world. Though they have this wonderful way of starving them to death in the UK.

Legal ways of killing after born is called the death penalty. In the US, its done with capital crimes, in the middle east, I think they do it if you flirt or whatnot, who knows. etc...

Its a play on words...actually, if a 40 year old person gets executed, what trimester would that be? the like 120th?

Understandable...if you see a 1st trimester growth as a child. I don't. I see potential..lots of fantastic potential. But to be a person, you need memories and experiences. without that, your just some tissue with purpose.

I am very much opposed to 3rd trimester, and even 2nd...when memories are starting to be produced. 1st though...meh, its just replicating cells, about as concerning as a sperm or egg. If I am proven wrong, I will adopt a different view...but I have not been proven wrong here.

So, in answer to that question, its more like what is any growth being charged with when you have it removed...do you concern yourself with bacteria or cancer when you eliminate that also?

I don't know who wrote the source material you're quoting, but they're not very smart.

If you're going to be cute, at least do it right.

What you're attempting to describe in a cute manner is water. But you call it hydrogen di-oxide. And yes, "hydrogen dioxide" would, indeed describe something with 1 hydrogen and 2 oxygen molecules.


The problem is that WATER does not have 1 hydrogen and 2 oxygen molecules. I knew, even before I got to high school... heck, probably before middle school that water contains:


2 Hydrogen
1 Oxygen


Which would make it H2O (aka di-hydrogen monoxide) not HO2, aka "hydrogen dioxide," which is actually This Stuff -- "Hydroperoxyl"


Besides-- fortuitously, "dihydrogen monoxide" sounds creepier to a moron who knows jack squat about chemistry, because it evokes another (actually dangerous) chemical that the sheeople masses tend to be familiar with -- carbon monoxide. So a non-chemist-full-idiot hears "monoxide" and says "gee, that must be bad-- it sounds like that other bad stuff," when in reality this describes one single (mono) oxygen molecule, common to water.


I would certainly sign to keep hydrogen dioxide out of the water supply.

i disagree with this. what of those with amnesia? it is well known that children learn in the womb, and remember their mother's voice.

even if we ignore all that, you would still be arguing that it is ok to kill something so long as it's potential hasn't been realized yet. it's rather a circular argument, preventing something from becoming a person so that it can be killed because it isn't a person...yet.
