I agree with you, it’s just that your post was so rare coming from ATS (which often sounds like a Klan gathering) that I was wondering about your sincerity

Stop kissing their asses. Whatever happened in the past I don't owe them jack, my family never owned slaves and that b.s. is a copout. I'm not going to apologize or kiss ass over something I didn't do. I refuse to be held responsible for what someone else did. African americans are already on a pedestal. A white person needing welfare help, their application ends up at the bottom of the pile where African Americans are given precedence and I've seen it happen. You and people like you are turning this nation into a welfare state. Enough is enough.

What about those hundreds of thousands of White Union soldiers who died to end slavery?
You are right. Hundreds of thousands of white folks died to end slavery.
An ancestor of mine died at Sharpsburg.

Actually no. That smart phone. that t-shirt, computer, cup of coffee...
that's stuff we buy, and that's stuff that comes from slaves
-Matthew 6:24
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

no, they are not sitting pretty. come on, this is not a genetic problem. it's a societal problem that has festered.

The African American people have been sorely abused in this country. We all know it. When our lawmakers and our people fought to end slavery, we thought everything was going to be okay. We were wrong. Then, many years later, the Civil Rights act, solved many of the post civil war problems, as well. The Equal Opportunity act helped it along also. And now, decades later, we find they are still suffering. From what, you might ask? Well, let me show you:
I submit to you, that the horrific living conditions many black americans found themselves in as a result of generational poverty, which itself was spawned by the after effects of slavery 200 years ago, has resulted in an entire racial group suffering with rampant, devastating, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The people of our inner cities don't need riots, they don't need drug lords, they don't need gun fights, they need Healing. They need love. We have have HAVE to find a way to reach out to these people as a nation.
This is a graphic I made to see if i can generate a change of perspective in people's viewpoints, to begin the healing of a people we know as the African American people
Please take this graphic and share it with others. Make a youtube of it. Something, Anything. It's time to stop worrying about us, and start caring about them
