This is too funny......

A lady in Manchester, England actually tried to place an order at the drive through window via a horse at McDonald's.
Needless to say, they refused service so what did she do?
Took the darn horse into the McDonald's. And guess what the horse did?
Yep, apple droppings....

Police constables in Manchester, England, were called to the scene on Bury New Road in the British city on Saturday. They decided the lone rider did not deserve a break and issued her a fine.

A statement posted on the Facebook page of Greater Manchester police's Whitefield division read: "The staff refused to serve the woman due to company policy. The woman then took the horse into the restaurant, who ended up doing his business on the floor.

www.nbcnews.com...

'"The incident caused distress to customers and disruption for the restaurant and the police issued the woman with a fixed penalty notice. The health and safety of our customers and staff is our top priority and for this reason we are unable to serve pedestrians, bicycle riders or customers on horseback through the drive-thru."

Awe man, would have liked to seen that.

At least she only got a fine.
In the US, she would have been arrested and her horse would have been impounded.....

I guess next time they serve her at the drive thru window!

This is just stupid! I've seen individuals on horses, bicycles and even on foot be served at the drive thru window ay my local McDonald's. They were just being jerks!

I saw an Amish guy yesterday with the whole horse and carriage set up do his business at a drive through lane at a bank. It takes all types...

They should have filled her order. What's the problem, no noxious exhaust fumes from a car?

She's lucky they didn't try to make her ride into burgers...

Many places we go, they won't take orders for 'walk ups'.

You have to be in a car. I think due to security reasons.

I just have three questions after reading about this.

1st How did the horse fit through the door? They must have had large doors, or the horse was small.

2nd Can motorcycles go through the drive through? And if so, why can't people on bikes go through the drive through?

Bonus question: What if the lady was riding the horse, and the horse was in a trailer. Could she order from the drive through then?

Don't you know the people were gawking as she did bring the horse in???

Good question. Wonder if they reserve the right to refuse orders from trailers.

Like how they even took a picture of the 'apple droppings' pile.
What was that for, evidence?
