Without of the knowledge of why you should serve God you would not be so grateful, just a robot which God created.

Why should I serve your deity? Come on now, this is the perfect opportunity to throw me a golden sales pitch. But be warned, I can smell snake oil a mile off.

Easily. Knowing myself, I would more likely chalk it up to pure luck rather than believe that it was actually my "prayer" that did the trick. But, I definitely would'nt give it much thought. Show me proof. I'm a "facts" kinda guy. And the fact is that there is no way to know why the coin toss came up "life" and not "death" I would have no idea and i would be TOTALLY fine with that.
