What eye patches?

I don't get it... I can see anything that would cause such a reaction here and I can only see half of what is being said so I will just move along.

Eyepatch on the way, but my sentiment goes out to whomever.

Get well soon...

I think this is a case of monkey see monkey and piskies do,
But what would be the reasoning for this is, it reminds me of standing on a corner and looking up, and before long other people start to look up as well.

I just switched my avatar to include a patch. So does this make me cool?, or am I just as lame as ever? For some reason the eye patch feels empowering, it makes me feel confident and powerful, mwha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!

Eyepatches are empowering. Like a nice leather glove that has been worked in really well. I like how it grips the skin instead of glancing off...

well i was thinking to my self " howsabout i get one of them eye patches to" then i thought i should be different for a change and not do what everyone else is. plus my avatar would suck with an eyepatch anyways lol.

A man of even limited ability is at a great advantage in the company of those less able.

I like my patch. It makes me feel like I'm wearing a mustache, I look good and feel good. But it's not as good as pisky's, his looks like real leather.

I'd say about 99% of these patches are covering the left eye...maybe that's symbolic for the left-wing political agenda being deflected in this election and the right side taking over?? Hmmmm.....

Maybe I'm just reading too much into it

I like my avatar right now though...don't feel much like altering it...I don't think an eye patch would be too noticable in it right now (EDIT: Aw...Why the heck not
)...

So I just put up an awesome eye patch for no apparent reason other than peer pressure. What was the original point of the patches other than the empowering feeling?

*Adds to the peer-pressure*

Oh come on, man. Everyone is doing it.
You're not cool unless you do it too.

And if thine eye offend thee...

That is a quote from the book of Mark, by the way.

The most addictive things in society as follows:

  1. Tobacco
  2. Other drugs (weed, crack, that gum at the bottom of bleachers)
  3. Alcohol
  4. Caffine
  5. Video Games
  6. Avatar Eye Patchs

So how did the eye patch start in the first place, who's idea was it?

Don't tell anyone, promise? Okay, cross your heart and hope to die, stick a needle in your eye? Okay.

I've got a secret: I'm just wearing an eyepatch because all the cool kids are wearing one.

I hope they don't see through my disguise and figure out that I'm not really cool at all, because that would really deflate my sense of self-esteem, which is based entirely on what other people think about me.

Remember, you promised...
