Silver and gold borders...?

Now I know for a fact that these questions have been raised before (a number of times I assume). However I used the so called "search engine tool" that we at ATS have. I could pull a direct thread with any answers.

I was curious how exactly one gets a silver or gold border. I know it has something to do with the number of posts/stars/flags someone has.

My question is how many do you need to achieve this? Or is it simply based off of a math algorithm?

Thanks for your time and sorry for another thread on this, but I honestly couldn't find a direct answer. (Maybe I'm just a derp and didn't notice)

They are rewarded based on how many souls you have harvested...

I think they're based on the Watts scores. Top 50= gold borders, Next 50= silver borders.

Meh, the trading value of souls is not what it used to be. I'm having to shuffle through 50-60 a day just to meet my quota. I pine for the good ole' days when 4-5 quality souls could feed a family and keep a gold border. Now it's all wholesale and craftsmanship and quality aren't even a concern anymore.
