Look at those socks. No way is that just an accident. Like his improperly tied tie. Is he so decrepit now he can't tell how his nurses' aides are dressing him? They must really hate him.

Bush 41 has always been known for wearing outrageous socks.

He certainly doesn't look like he's doing well. He appears to be trying hard to keep a smile, but you're right. The whole appearance is ... disturbing. I didn't realize his health had slipped that far. I guess I hadn't been paying any attention.

He's old. Most old people look and dress ridiculous. Even if they are rich or a former President.

What was initially more disturbing to me was that I saw it as though Obama and Bush Senior had their suits melded into one,with obamas hand tickling bushes back(or winding a cog wheel).

Wearing those socks, i would be afraid someone might drop a house on me.

He's an old guy in a wheel chair. If wearing stripped socks makes him happy .. so be it.
Sure .. the brown and black and socks don't match. But it's not like he's POTUS anymore
and he certainly isn't active .. he's just doing his own thing. Good for him.
All things considered .. he looks fine for the situation.

That picture is rather comical. Obama looks like the ventriloquist while he's controlling a life size wooden puppet of George. Those socks looks like Obama is saying "we just found Waldo." It would be better if George W. was in the place of his father. Then the idea of a clown or puppet would fit.
