ID was a daughter site yes in the beginning, but we have grown up and branched off.

If it werent for Skeptic and his group, I wouldnt be an ATS Ring Bearer.

It looks very interesting! I've been looking for another forum.

I often visit UFOEvolution as my primary secondary forum, but I may just have to settle in and check this place out.
My secondary forum has lost it's 'umph' for me, and I haven't posted there in a very long time. I stop in and post every once and a great while. But let face it, whatever they can do - ATS does it better.

My primary question - which has caused me to leave so many promising looking forums ... Is hatefulness and discrimination moderated? I don't join un-moderated forums. I learned a long time ago - if site owners aren't going to care - then I don't care to be there.

Our forums are moderated yes. And our member guidelines define what isnt appreciated.
We dont tolerate certain behaviors that damage forums as you have noticed.

I am hoping that some of the older members from back in the day take notice of this thread here. I miss those persons, and all those that were involved in the FTR game. It was alot of fun. I lost days of sleep.

I feel, and I speak for myself, that ATS provided ID to us in a great way. Yes we have changed colors, styles, and even members over the years, but I have enjoyed it and appreciated it much.

Currently I personally run the backend, as well as style development and feature additions. And that is a pretty big pain in the arse sometimes. But I like doing this sort of thing.

The purpose of this thread (aside from obvious self-promotion), it to say Thanks to ATS.

Have to admit I'm chuckling over some of the responses here. It's like some of the members feel ATS is being threatened by your site and they think ATS is the best. Well, ATS is the best, but it doesn't take anything away from your site.
