Breaking News! George Zimmerman found not guilty.

CNN really pisses me off. Loni is saying "just because he was proven not guilty doesn't mean he was innocent!"....soo, I always thought everyone was innocent until proven guilty. Poor George, not guilty and not innocent. What a paradox to live with.

I'm kinda shocked that they found him not guilty. While I believe in Stand your Ground, Castle Doctrine, and the like, taking a life in this case just seemed like a split second irrationality, controversial as it can be. However, Zimmerman, similar with Casey Anthony, will have to live in his own prison, because of the threats going around, even even he can evade a serious attack. Also, with that I believe the media portrayed then then the public suffered of manipulated and swayed opinion...emotion, the whole thing into a circus of affairs that should not be, it's further divide and conquer when it should be discussing Stand Your Ground type laws.

I would venture to say that if Trayvon was white (which just to be factual, Zimmerman is NOT), there never would have been a trial to begin with.

If you live in Florida you should at least be aware of the Stand Your Ground law. You should know that it is very difficult to beat a self defense claim in Florida. At that point, you should go out of your way to avoid making people feel as if they need to defend themselves from you. So thanks to the votes of the women, they won't be changing the self defense laws or pushing for gun control, which is apparently the most important thing on everyone's mind right now and perhaps why we have this verdict. Nobody wants any one trying to take the guns!

Instead, what they should do is what made Treyvon look so suspicious... and ban black hoodies.

We don't need better rules of engagement, we need a dress code.

the racial divide has always been here. and still running. Why should Blacks back down from the racial divide every time they are done wrongfully in this system, and just forgive and forget so the same crap happens again the following day?

Whites tell Blacks all the time to get over it. nobody tells the Jews that after their mistreatment. They were even given Reparations. Blacks were not! Stop telling the Blacks that they should just get over being mistreated in this system.

Considering that all of the eyewitness testimony and evidence suggested it, yeah, I'd say it was pretty much proven; at least, the jury felt that way.

According to the Jury in this case, the prosecution couldn't prove it either. So, under our system, the default is not guilty unless proven beyond reasonable doubt. You could say Zimmerman won or you could say the Prosecution lost. Either way, it would appear to be over and it's what we live with, right?

Not true he is welcome at the gun range by me anytime. Most of us legal gun owners feel the same here.

Social media is downright disgusting at the moment.

I have to say that I'm very surprised and happy with the outcome. I really didn't think the guy would get a fair trial.

Who said anything about a ban? I said that people should be self aware, not made to be self aware by the law.

It is about self preservation. In Florida, if someone feels threatened by you, they have a much higher likelihood of shooting you and getting away with it than in other places. That is the real world state of things. Now, decide how you want to behave.
