Threats to loot & riot if Zimmerman found innocent

If they won't riot against government officials, what makes you think anyone cares about this trial?

You're right, they won't. It will be the general public that has to face the rioting, looting, assaults and rapes. It's hot out, people are riled up because of this case... After TM was killed, there were small mobs of people in numerous cities going around causing ruckus and beating on people in the name of Trayvon. My city was one of them.

I find it funny african americans are basing this purely on racism and not facts. Clearly Trayvon was on top of him all though Zimmerman was not suffering life threatening injuries and defiantly shouldn't of shot him, Trayvon confronted him instead of running a block away to his dads.. Not to mention Zimmerman took a 'Stand Your Ground' class.

Also would refer you all to an DM article a few days ago which you can just google entitled "Americans believe blacks are more racist then white's and hispanics..."

To argue that the media can't exploit white hate crimes is like arguing that the president can't argue against the legitimacy of his own country's constitution. Oh wait...

Society's trends are generally whoreish, and with the racial revolution comes a deep distaste for the race that previously mistreated other races. So, there is a bias view against whites nowadays. Media or not, that is a fact.

This is the kind of thing I was talking about. Divide & conquer, sick the public against the public, etc.

1 - Create an event that will spawn an emotional reaction, thus leading to chaos

2 - Use this chaos as an excuse to pass more unneeded laws

Not to mention, it does good to divide us rather than allowing us citizens, regardless of color, become too chummy with one another. Then, we might have a fighting chance against our government... can't have that.

Nah, not really. That actually happens more frequently than you think. Except the kids usually have a bag of peanut M&M's.

Either way, Like someone had posted earlier, people are getting killed every day. Why is this case so special? Well, because the big man in office got involved.- like the OP stated, divide and conquer. It's easier to take control over something once it's been weakend from ruining itself from the inside out first, hence divide and conquer.

I live in a major city and am familiar with the numbers. This case has a bunch of things that are unique. One being the cops told him not to get involved. Another, a black teen, shot in a white neighborhood, by a white man. Please find me a case of a white teen being shot in a black neighborhood, by a black man, where he wasn't immediately arrested and charged in the first degree.

This is a horked up case from the get go, both Zimmerman and Martin were wrong, without the gun, nothing more than a fist fight.

This topic is about the threats of riots regarding the Zimmerman trial, not your bias opinions about which news sites you prefer.

No offense, but it sounds like you're life was a little more sheltered, and I think it'd be hard for you to understand where I'm coming from. Its easy to condemn someone when you've never walked in their shoes.

I never called a name, and I am not, in any way, hate mongering.

I am not discriminating.

I was using a piece of my experience to give back to my point; some blacks are VERY racist.

And that is a fact.

Killing in self defense is not murder.(Trayvon was not murdered. His death was clearly justifiable homicide)

Protecting one's household from looting vigilantes is not a crime. This time people have had enough of these threats.

So you were discriminated against, so has every black, asian, and native person in this country. Sorry, I am a white male, have never felt discriminated against. Instead, I engage people and find out what there problem is, I have been shot at, stabbed at, and struck. All of those things, no matter who did them, do I hate their race or ethnic group.

Zimmerman was not protecting his household, he was a neighborhood watch captain.

ETA: I would have no problem shooting someone who broke into my home, my only fear would be hitting one of my dogs who would be eating them.
