The truth is that Islamist ideology is wholly, completely and utterly incompatible with modern day secular thinking, much less within a multicultural society.

That would be an interesting thread ~ what IS modern secular thinking and how does it benefit society?

There are people here in Egypt talking about a Muslim brotherhood plot.

They aim to reconstruct Syria. They plan to protest on camera and then have snipers FROM THE MB kill some of the people protesting. They will use this to appear like the ones being oppressed and killed by the military's snipers while they are unarmed. They will use the fact that the military is indeed arresting MB leaders to reinforce the idea that they are being oppressed and "wiped out". In reality they are the ones killing the anti-muslim brotherhood crowds in other locations with imported automatic firearms.

I have watched CNN and what they are saying, it is complete garbage they are on the side of the MB, they are trying to convey a false image of what is happening making the MB look like they are correct and are "protecting democracy" they are also making it sound like the MB are a lot more numerous then they actually are. CNN is going to focus on the MB protests while they are shot at, by the "military's snipers" giving Obama an excuse for military intervention.

If you ever see MB members shot at, then you know never to watch that channel again. Anti-Muslim brotherhood crowds are completely unarmed. If you ever see otherwise its complete propaganda for the Muslim brotherhood.

I hope that I'm wrong about the plot. CNN tho, don't watch that #. Ask your questions here, the OP and I are both in Egypt.

No offense but it seems if this was Israel and Obamas plan it has worked to some degree.Now they know the muslim brotherhood is all through Egypt and what their plan is.

Looking at the so called Arab spring, it was not a spring it was not by the people it was a perfectly timed and staged overthrow of all the so called dictators to enable "operation change" in the region.

Of course we can not generalize but let's call them the elite who ever they are who want this plan executed, surely i can be wrong but time will tell the truth.

I don't disagree with you mem0r1es, there were a few of us here that saw through it all and believed the muslim brotherhood was put into power by the Obama administration, I don't totally see the Israeli connection or how they would profit from the Muslim brotherhood in power.

There is no Israel connection...In that respect it doesn't matter which side prevails, it will be Israel's fault...These people are so blinded by hate for Israel it keeps them awake at night...

The real fact is, Israel had a working relationship with the former Egyptian President Mubarak and you can be sure that Israel is elated to see the terrorist Morsi relieved of his position as President...

Okay- I'll think for myself.

You are all back to being controlled by a military dictatorship. You have plenty of theories and conspiracies to throw around - but how do you know you're not just heading back into the same scenario as it was before Morsi?

I think most Americans knew Barry's hands were all in the "Arab Spring" and the 'election' of Morsi.

What I want the people of the world to know is that we Americans are so against Obama and his puppet masters! It's a long time since America had a 'president' worth anything. We the people are sick of being given a bad name because of people who were selected by the puppet masters to control this country. What exactly does Egypt have that the globalists want? Who controls the banks?

For the most part your right, Obama and his leaders wanted to oust every Arab leader they felt like. The real plan is to not have Israel attack.

If you think Obama likes Israel your high on something. This was a big plan set in motion to remove all the leaders who would never dare attack Israel. That should be obvious to see.

Obama is still backing the Muslim Brotherhood, not the majority of the Egyptian people. Despite what your years of Arab fed learning has told you, Israel wants to live in peace. They had good relations with Egypt before Obama installed his MB fan club and with their army being almost as advanced as Israels they sure as hell do not want to fight them. Israel is to small to wait for an attack when they see one coming. They must use every advantage they have to keep from being attacked or drove into the sea.

Its been what Ten years and Israel still has not attacked Iran, why? Because the people of Israel do not want it.

Obama's goal is to get the radical Islamist into power, the Muslim Brotherhood. The same Caliphate that Hitler started to fight the Allies. This time he wants them to attack Israel and start the Gog-Magog war, Why? Because Obama is a radical Islamic himself. He is drastically weakening the United States from within so America will be powerless to stop the Arab-Russian invasion of Israel.

That is what really is happening!!!! Most former American military personnel see this and are fuming. Thankfully the Egyptian military is still smart and not listening to Obama, like he had planned. You can even see how he tried to bribe them with new weapons being delivered.

Obama and his buddies are your real enemies, not the Israeli or American people!!!!

There was a plan to dismantle all of the Arab region long time ago, a lot of people know this and I will just enforce the message by telling you how we overthrew the "US" democratically elected president in Egypt hence destorying Israel and Obama's Operation Change in the MEA region.


1- Shafik did win by votes but the US pressured the Army back then to go for their puppet
2- The Army did know the facts and saw this coming as Israel wants to "Islamize" the region so they can launch their attack
3- What they didn't see coming was a 90 Million Population of smart people who knew that this is not what they wanted and knew now how they can get it.
4- If you want reality watch the local media and not the International made in Hollywood 9/11 directed films.

Surely now the Mossad and Hamas are upset we ruined their plans as both of them want to go to war but Egypt is their long standing pimple.

This is one of the most ill informed posts I've seen on ATS and it truly shows the lack of research that members do in order to deny ignorance.

- The Muslim Brotherhood President was not the US puppet. We did not want Morsi in there. Obama threw money at the Egyptian military in the beginning because the Muslim Brotherhood said they were going to stay out of the elections and then, like always, they lied. We continued to give the military money in order to keep the peace treaty with Israel. This had nothing to do with Morsi. Morsi and the military were at odds with each other.

- Israel does not want to Islamize the Middle East for a war. It's the Muslims who want to Islamize the region in order to get it back under "Political Islam" and Muslim control. The ultimate goal is for the Middle Eastern leaders and countries to try and kick Israel out of the region. They believe Israel belongs to the Muslims and there's no room in the Middle East for the non-Muslims according to them.

- Just like Syria, the situation in Egypt is a double edged sword and a lose/lose situation. He did not want the Muslin Brotherhood in control, but he also knew that the way Morsi was overthrown would make the country ripe for a civil war again, like Syria. Be watching because Al Qaeda is going to start coming out of the wordwork on this situation along with all of the other jihadist factions. Morsi supporters and Muslim Brotherhood members were waving Al Qaeda flags during their protests.

- If you want reality, read international news sources and the words coming out of the leaders' mouths from the Middle East and watch what they are doing. Start paying attention to Erdogan because he's going to play a big role in what's going to happen next. The Muslims are looking to him to re-create the next "Ottoman Empire" in the region to complete their Islamic Union of Islamic States ruled by Political Islam.

It was precisely due to Morsi being elected in Egypt that Obama and the U.S. dragged it's feet on helping out Syria. They don't want Syria turning into another state run by Political Islam, which is what Morsi was trying to do before he was overthrown. Morsi tried to act secular and then his true colors started to show.

Egypt only got around 80million in population and those who are eligible to vote is significantly less plus the last election has a very low turnout it is so dismally low at 30% so how did you get around those figures?

Deny ignorance. There were only 30million votes cast in the election. Morsi supposedly won by 900k votes - 51.7% vs 48%. Why post something that can so easily be refuted via easily searchable data?
