90's music--post your guilty pleasure here!

What, no cake?

I saw your thread calling for 90's music and I thought "yay an excuse to share some Primus (I love me some Primus). Then I saw it called for pop... I didn't like any pop from then...then I remembered one song and I can honestly say I never admitted it to anyone EVER...lol

I can't wait to read through the thread - i'm sure there's some great entertainment to be had here. Well, here's mine:

PM Dawn - Album title: Of the Heart, of the Soul, and of the Cross (or something close to that.) it was the disc I would crank up on the "system" I built into my '88 Mustang (per standard 16-18 year old format around here at the time, the sound system was valued at approximately 50% of the value of the vehicle. However...as this is a "guilty pleasure" thread, I hit the "attenuate" (sound reduction) button many times when there were other youths nearby to "catch me" listening to PM Dawn.

Honestly, even giving it a listen as I'm about to do now, I think I would still like it!

I'm not sure if there is an official video for this song, but it was a big deal for a short time.

I don't believe in guilty pleasures. Just pleasures lol. If I enjoy something, I have no shame in it. That said, I generally only listen to music that has some inherent meaning or expressive purpose.

These songs remind me of being a kid from the 90's. The sounds, the style, the image, etc. It's all there. The 90's was an era of pop culture. Truly it was unique compared to any before or after it.
