Children are non consenting.. that is why it is illegal.

Pedophiles do not have "sexual preference," in the same way gays do. That is the first problem with what you are presenting. Since children are considered non-consensual, we cannot see them as a preferential object.

Children cannot fit into a "preference" category, given their non consensual status. So you should reconsider the language you are using to compare gay preference, with pedophilic crime.

It depends on which country you are in as to when a child can give consent.
In some countries marriage and sex can happen as young as 8.
So in some countries an 8 yr old can consent. But in others not. Once again its down to the views of society(in whichever country they might reside).
Homosexuality was illegal not so long ago.

Homosexuality in the USA had been illegal not too long ago.. but like you have stated, in other countries, such as European countries, homosexuality has been legal for a very very long time.

Their attraction to children is not based on the gender of the child. Pedophiles are attracted to "children," and "minors," "innocent little ones." Why? Because they are exactly that- children, easy to manipulate, and easy to control physically.

You would be prioritizing gender over age. The priority is the age of the non-consenting child. The pedophile is attracted to the age of the child, not the gender of the child. Pedophiles want children. They do not care about the gender. If a pedophile chooses to victimize a boy, he does that because it is less obviously far less dangerous to attack a boy than to attack a girl.

He does not attack boys because he is gay. Most Gay folk are not pedophiles.

Homosexuality has been observed and recorded in over 50% of all species. I agree with your choice to "dislike" it, but saying it's not natural is incorrect. Unless you consider the homosexuality of monkeys, giraffes, lions, etc. to be products of society... But that's silly.

I was one who said eating offspring is natural for some animals in nature. I don't have a problem with gay people at all. I have a problem with the argument.

I'm not sure if you've taken notice, but I'd say most sex is not happening for the specific act of procreation. It's happening for fun. The same religions that repress homosexuality tend to be down on contraception, masturbation and abortion as well. "No sex for fun, dagnabbit!" I'd say it's more about the creation of more tithe-paying sheep.

Incidentally, was there a point when you learned not to be gay?

wasn't putting my religious beliefs in my answer at all that has nothing to do with my answer but you make a good remark of learned heterosexuality it is learned from watching my parents behavior grandparents uncles and aunts none of mine were gay at all....my main argument is when I lived next door to a gay kid and actually watched him practicing how to speak and sound and walk like a girl...I don't understand the "acting" part...like I'm a female and Im the guy female so I gotta ACT like a guy dress like a guy wrap my boobs and all that crap if your gay I could care less its the acting like male/female Opposite that cracks me the hell up!!

I wonder what the actual percentage rates of homosexuality are in animals verses humans ...Id bet on average its a lot lower I also wonder if they followed these animals for several years to see if any of them ever mated with the opposite sex of their species can you really imagine the person doing the research on this I bet he had an exciting life "what are you doing today John..Im going to go watch 2 male Donkeys Hump " its just too funny...no Gay to think about Pun intended

Your 'logic' destroys itself. If being gay is a learned behavior, how do you account for gay kids that come from a family with no gay members? And where did the first gay person 'learn' the behavior from?
