These are police-state tactics!

How many times are people going to say this before they just finally admit we actually live in one?

The hopeless are still clinging to the idea that we're still headed in that direction when it's painfully obvious we hit that threshold around 9/11.

Sadly, I agree. Really I have no rebuttal.

Newsflash: American Public dies sorry ass death by 1,000 incremental, unchallenged cuts.

We had the right to abolish our government if it no longer served the needs of its people (DoI) but they got rid of that right too when they framed the Constitution. They will never take away our right to armed revolution though. Cause that's what it's going to take to get these scumballs off our backs.

You (collectively) have that right at every election. That said my opinion on how the government is run will always differ from the next guy, so we end up with a government that not every one wants but satisfies a slight majority. Revolution wont fix that. The US should have a bigger sample of political parties tho.

there is a difference between drunk driving and driving under the influence of drugs.

Both are DUIs

But if the cops believe you are under the influence of drugs you do not have the right to ask for a breathalyzer test

By the way a EMT basic can not do these draws only a EMT paramedic so most cops that are EMT can not do them as a EMT.

So i have no problem with the cops taking or having blood taken from a drunk driver as many drugged drivers also drink heavy.

I am a EMT and have seen the carnage from these DUI drivers.

Men and women, dressed in black, forcing blood out of your body, for the purposes of investigating a misdemeanor. These cops are creepy. Perverted, sick, delusional. They should ALL be publicly belted in the face with an American Flag for the atrocities they've inflicted on our Nation.

The American people have tolerated your abuse for too long, and we've been far too forgiving of your self-preserving stupidity. Respect the privilege of protecting FREE people and start acting like human beings, instead of the totalitarian scum you've been trained to become.

Quite frankly, I wish every single Cop would quit, leave us alone to live what lives we have left. It's bad enough to have terrorists outside our borders, we don't need terrorists in our neighborhoods. Right now, Americans view every single one of you, as terrorists in disguise. Even worse, terrorists with the backing of the government and the courts. You cops are a vile lot and you created that image all by yourself. If this is your idea of 'Serve and Protect', we don't need ya.

Until police start behaving like civil servants again, I will continue to look upon you as armed and dangerous thugs driving around in cars with cages in them. Shame....pure shame the American Police force has become. Take a bow, you've earned it.

Seems like nowadays, self expression is a risky business. I figured that as long as I don't directly threaten or incite violence, I'm on the safe side......for the time being.

Clearly they have enough tools to use already, no need to take blood. They must be collecting for their blood sucking leaders.

I hate to make radical comments, but the only solace I get after watching these types of videos is knowing that it wont be long until the people are drawing blood from the cops Chris Dorner style.

What the heck? (sorry about the swear)

These are police-state tactics!

Wrong. Wrongwrongwrong.

About the only Right we have left, is the Right to remain silent!

Sorry to break it to you beezer, but we don't have the right to remain silent unless we vocally assert that right, according to last weeks SCOTUS ruling.

Supreme Court bombshell

This is not allowed here in the UK. If you refuse a breathtest at the roadside they give you one at the police station and can check your blood there as well. If you fail you are given a years suspension from driving and your insurance for a car goes sky high. But you are allowed to drive until it comes to court.

Law enforcement does not occur until one is convicted and sentenced for a crime.

They really do nothing more than drum up business for the courts by force.

I really have no idea where the term "law enforcement " came from, aside from maybe the bullies liking to think of themselves as LEO's as in Leo The Lion, what tards, like stupid bullies on the playground, or the helpless bullied.

This is code enforcement, they have no real lawful authority.

Don't tell them you know that, they'll just kill you.

And then you'll be free.

If this were the reason you would not see so many other excuses for collecting. it could even lead to your DNA info being sold and you would be profiled by potential employers and others who would like to know everything about you. As they say information is power.

Supreme Court rules police can collect DNA from anyone arrested - even if never convicted of a crime Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk...

Without getting into my personal feelings on the subject, I'll offer the following: This is nothing new. There are several states which are 'implied consent' states. This means that in their motor vehicle code, they have a law that says that if you drive a motor vehicle on public highways in that state, you automatically consent to an examination for intoxicants if there is probable cause to request said exam. As was described to me by the PAO of the San Diego PD once during a driving safety presentation, that because they are an implied consent state, if somebody refuses a blood draw, then they get the 4 biggest guys in the precinct to hold you and the 5th one draws a blood sample.

Probably every one of the 50 states has the philosophy that driving a motor vehicle on public highways is a privilege and not a right. Because it's a privilege, it can be regulated and require licensing as well as impose rules such as implied consent. I would suggest that if anybody disagreed with forcible blood draws, then they must first do away with a pervasive ideology that driving is not a right. And that's just the starting point. This philosophy and those laws have been around for a good long time now.

No you don't have the right to remain silent. You have to tell the police that you either don't want to talk to them and/or speak to an attorney.
