Finding the positives in a bad time

Hi guys

Well it's been quite a week so far, just one day left before I can collapse in a heap and burst out with laughter about it all.

For those of you that have followed my week you'll know what I mean. Having had a few hours respite I've looked back and there has been a lot of good come out of all the drama

So finding the positives

The apprentice............................His brother is responding to treatment better than could be expected and is expected to make a full recovery

The positive: Dan thinks I am the Patron Saint of apprentices, and everyone at work has shown a spirit that would put Mother Theresa too shame.

The lost finger ................... has been reattached and is expected to be fully functional with time
The positive: I've been given a commendation, a bottle of scotch and a hug from a very pretty young lady

The ex wife.......................She is back home and although still a bit week asking for more money for the kids so back to normal
The positive: I am again talking to my 17 year old daughter after 8 years of being thought of as some kind of uncaring ogre.

The current wife......................We've had a lovely email from her head of department full of support and admiration for her.
The positive: I might laid tonight

So if you're going through an intense time, I'd recommend this.

As soon as you can, TAKE SOME TIME FOR YOU it's important

If you drink, have a large one, put on your favourite song and play air guitar, or conduct you favourite orchestra without shame, remember that feeling of singing into a hair brush? Get it back release the kid you love so much that lives inside you.

Finally
Tell someone you love them and mean it. Your pet counts

Have an awesome time
And remember ....................... perspective................. use it or lose it

Dude, that is SO awesome! If you've followed my stuff lately, I can really identify. Months ago, we're back with my stepson, and now my step-daughter, so I definitely know how you feel.

However my dress needs work

I need to out dress my daughter if I ever meet her again

I'm thinking bottle green ( I have red/grey short cropped hair)

But above or below the knee

That's good you see the positive my friend.

I try to and sometimes it's hard and when I can't see the positive I call my friend and she will find it
