As if things weren’t bad enough in US, take a look at the hidden agenda jammed into the new immigration bill.

The Obamacare mandates slated to go into effect next year will force employers to provide health care coverage, or pay a fine to the government of $3000 per employee if they fail to do so. This is a job killer in and of itself, but it doesn’t stop there.

Under the immigration legislation making its way through Congress right now there exists a provision that will allow illegal immigrants residing in the United States the option of being classified as “registered provisional immigrants,” which means they can work legally within the United States. It sounds like a great idea to the progressive-minded.

Here’s the problem.

“Under Obamacare, businesses with over 50 workers that employ American citizens without offering them qualifying health insurance could be subject to fines of up to $3,000 per worker. But because newly legalized immigrants wouldn’t be eligible for subsidies on the Obamacare exchanges until after they become citizens – at least 13 years under the Senate bill – businesses could avoid such fines by hiring the new immigrants instead.”

What the new legislation essentially does is place a tariff on hiring American citizens.
LINK

Would anyone still like to take the position that illegal immigrants DON'T steal jobs from Americans?

It’s obvious to most people that the only reason Obama and his party are pushing immigration reform so hard is because it benefits them politically.

When conservatives proposed adding a provision to the immigration bill that would prohibit all new Americans from voting for 10 years, Obama’s party refused to even consider it. That alone tells me exactly what their motivation is. On top of that, we’ve learned so far that Harry Reid jammed in some port barrel spending to help his home state and sweeten the deal for some who where on the fence.

According to Breitbart News, the Senate majority leader teamed up with fellow Nevada representative, Republican U.S. Sen. Dean Heller, to insert permanent funding into the enforcement section of the immigration reform bill for a tourist-promotion program beloved by their state’s casino interests.

The original Travel Promotion Act would have funded the program through 2015. The provision Reid and Heller inserted, according to Breitbart, would fund the act in perpetuity. And once it was in, Heller was on board with immigration reform.
LINK

Another bill being jammed through that we don’t get to fully read until it’s passed!! How many more sweeteners have been added that we haven't discovered yet???

I’m almost at a loss for words at the speed with which Obama and his party are changing this country for the worse. I don’t know about you (other Americans) but I know many people who have lost their job since 2008 and are struggling financially. This provision will incentivize businesses to NOT HIRE AMERICANS in order to avoid Obamacare penalties. Not only are they not doing anything to spur growth and create jobs, now they're incentivizing people to come here illegally by offering them OUR JOBS!

What's next?

[snipped]

When the negative effects of Obamacare turn the medical system into cubas, and mexico's, maybe then they will be happy... Maybe this is their nudge off the cliff... Hiring illegals, is now encouraged. This will not help the poor but hurt them because these are not Doctors and Lawyers we are talking about.. Now the poors wages will be kept at a minimum wage for sure, if they do not like it, well the newly able to work illegals will infest like cockroaches to work for less.

You're kidding right? You expect people to go through the tedious process of immigrating here legally, obtaining citizenship and paying taxes, yet you don't want them to vote for 10 years?!

Sorry friend, but if you become an American, doesn't matter where you came from, you pay taxes, you get to vote.

Here you all are complaining that illegal immigration is this huge problem that needs to be dealt with, and in the same breath you complain about LEGAL immigration and the benefits of having more TAX PAYING Americans in the pool.

Methinks some people in America won't be happy until the borders are closed and you don't let anybody who wasn't born IN America, INTO America.

It's agenda to make America look like the rest of the world....Poor.

Most of these migrant worker's are not here to be Americans. They just want to work.

To force these people to become American's is wrong.

Just talk with them....They have no use for our culture.

They just want a job...

The real problem is that they’re making it easy for people to come here illegally and keeping it hard for people to come here legally. All of the people we WANT to immigrate here have to jump through hoops for years, yet cartel gangsters and other law breakers will be granted amnesty. That makes absolutely no sense to me unless I look at it through a political lens….it means more bottom feeders, more welfare takers and more democrat voters.

I can only hope the House throws this bill out today. I can’t imagine the destruction we will realize should it pass. I think you’re on the right track though; US will begin looking like a giant slum.

Welcome to the NEW AMERICA! Please register for benefits (and to vote) upon arrival!

Look, the president of the United States must be born here, maybe not a bad idea...

No, those people are Americans. I’m talking about the people who might get blanket amnesty today!

I'm talking about the people here illegally right now! They shouldn't be allowed to vote for 10-20 years if we make their stay legal. Do you support criminals voting? I know Obama doesn’t mind!

You completely misrepresented my post. Please quote where I complained about LEGAL immigration.I don’t remember typing that.

I think we need immigration reform but the crap Reid pushed through isn’t it! I notice you ignored the pork barrel, too. I guess the ends justify the means. We should close the border, streamline the current legal immigration process and the people here illegally now should be at the very back of the line. Until the law breakers go through the proper channels they should NOT be allowed to vote.

oh, well that I agree with in a way, maybe not 10 years, that's still a bit harsh, but I don't really believe in the whole blanket amnesty thing, unless it's for kids of those immigrants who actually got born here.

No no Seabag, that part wasn't directed at you. We've had far too many talks about this stuff for me to think of you like that.

I notice you ignored the pork barrel, too.

Well show me bill without any pork to get some random congressman or senator on the band wagon. It's deplorable yes, but just part of the game at this point.

There are too many stupid laws that make people out to be criminals if you ask me. But I do agree with you on that...other than the people I don't think should be classified as convicts.

I think if this bill had any meat on it, it wouldn't have hidden crap built into it.

You can get E coli swallowing this..............

This Administration has lacked transparency from day one. I dont see anything changing. Fact is, I see it going from bad to worse.

I saw this and it makes me question all of it. Is this true?

Legal Mexican immigrants are far less likely to choose naturalization than other immigrants, according to a new Pew report, which found that about two-thirds of the 5.4 million Mexican immigrants eligible to become U.S. citizens have not done so.

Two Thirds of Legal Mexican Immigrants Don't Apply for Citizenship About 5.4 million Mexican immigrants are eligible to become U.S. citizens but 2/3 have not done so.

Chuck Schumer is the architect and lead Democratic sponsor for this immigration bill. He holds a dual Israeli-American citizenship. To me this legislation is just another piece of the Zionist puzzle, for America.

This bill not only rewards those who have broken our laws, that is the illegal immigrants, but also rewards criminal corporations, by providing them with an unlimited source of cheap disposable human labor.

"In new immigration deal, a big favor for Alaska"
source : washingtonexaminer.com...

Forget about human rights, forget about our decaying environment, forget about the American people, but make damn sure you don't forget about the money. This bill is only about gratifying special interest groups. It's all about lining just a few individual's pockets with cash, made off the blood, sweat, and tears of expendable dirt-cheap human labor.

In my lifetime I've lived in only two cities, Los Angeles and San Diego. I understand quite well, the negative impact of illegal immigration and the corporate lust for cut-rate human labor. America, you have no idea what's coming your way.

You're absolutely right. They've done the same on this that they did with Obamacare. The Public got told and sold on a preliminary version and damned if you'll see them detail what changed as both sides pass through a bill too long to read and too complex to easily digest even if time existed. Always fiddling in compromise on these HUGE bills to the last minute......just to insure anything could be slipped in anywhere across the tome and no one will ever have time to find it.

We have to pass it to see what's in it. This makes twice. It's getting REAL old.

I don't for a group of people who threw away the birth citizenship like it was nothing to go where the grasses greener using the backdoor instead of the front door.

Are not worthy of US citizenship if people think US citizenship should be passed out like fiat currency it will have the same value of nothing.

I do expect people to use the front door what people support with immigration is :

Me coming to your home unannounced your next door neighbor helped move me in, go to your kitchen grab a beer, and plop my bottom on the sofa, and start watching some hockey.

Then you come home, might tell me to leave, but your neighbor, and your elected leaders say meh, sorry he don't have to, were gonna make them 'citizens'.

Yes, those who have become legal, soon found themselves out of a job, and had to depend on welfare, which is a point many complain about. Companies try their best to boost profits and having a legal worker does not increase profits as much as an undocumented one.

Immigration is far more complex than what people think it is. Blame is carefully shifted to the Immigrants, and everyone follows what their overlords want them to follow, an illegal immigrant can not TAKE a job from someone, they can only accept, if a wolf wants a sheep, from your many sheep, and you try and protect them and your son/daughter/aunt /cousin etc.. gives the wolf a sheep, is it the wolfs' fault or the one who gave the sheep?

People focus their anger on the Illegals, which is understandable to a point, but it helps nothing, look to who really benefits and profits from it.

Ive said this before in other threads. If this Administration really cared about the state of where this Country was going, they would fix the many other problems we have instead of making the side show atraction the bigger problem. Not saying Immigration isnt a big problem, but its not the problem I would be focusing on if I was the President, or Congress.

When conservatives proposed adding a provision to the immigration bill that would prohibit all new Americans from voting for 10 years, Obama’s party refused to even consider it.

Want to know why?

The 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution.

Amazing right? they have more than 2 Amendments to the US Constitution. Many conservatives I know can't count to 14, but it's there.

To introduce a law that prohibits a person naturalized in this country from voting would be unconstitutional. The Conservatives wanted to slip that part in in order to try and make the whole thing get struck down by the US Supreme court.

Another bill being jammed through that we don’t get to fully read until it’s passed!! How many more sweeteners have been added that we haven't discovered yet???

Thomas.gov, you can always check out any bill in front of congress and read it for yourself at any time. What are they supposed to do, shut down congress, drive to your house, make you a pot of tea and read every bill before your feet?

This provision will incentivize businesses to NOT HIRE AMERICANS in order to avoid Obamacare penalties. Not only are they not doing anything to spur growth and create jobs, now they're incentivizing people to come here illegally by offering them OUR JOBS!

Actually, wouldn't that be the businesses being the bad guy and not the government? After all, they are the ones who are (according to you) going to give all our jobs away to illegals coming in the country to avoid healthcare. Sounds to me like a bunch of cheapskates trying to get away once again with paying Americans crap wages and then [snip] on them when they loose just a little bit more money.

Besides the fact that Employees are the ones that are going to bear the brunt of the cost for coverage, not the employer. So the only employers who are going to do this are scumbags who would crap on their employees anyway.

We blame employers and we also blame the illegals. The illegal knows full well they are breaking laws by being here. Illegals know full well that by accepting a job here, they are 'taking' the position from someone who is living here legally and needs to support their own family. Illegals are not innocent and without blame. Nothing complex about it. These people should not be above the law and other people. If we break a law, we go to jail or pay a fine, we don't get rewarded!

When Obama said that he wanted to fundamentally transform America, we should have listened.

Dems want this, republicans hope that by wanting this, they'll garner more votes.

Basically, Americans voted for the end to America.

Higher unemployment.
More people relying on government for handouts.

We're screwed. Zombie Apocalypse time.

You know, I hate to say you are right when it comes to America taking its last gasp of air, but yeah.....

Those that have systematically destroyed this Country must be whispering this to themselves again and again, before they sleep at night.

"The Constitution is just a piece of paper"

Problem is that "We the People" have let it happen, and continue to let it happen.

l am surprised anyone is trying to come to America illegally, unless they are coming to get the last of the free crap we have to offer before it disappears.......
