okay so i over the years have talked with people about the existence of magickal creatures such vampires, werewolves, etc.

and the one thing i hear the most is "if they are real why don't we hear about them killing people" will maybe we do
you see every year people go missing that are never found ( vampire?,werewolves?, fairies?,dragons? etc).
people die suddenly with no explanation (vampires?, witch's curses?, etc).
and animal attacks were the animal was never found and some cases were the victim survived and they couldn't even tell you what kind of animal attack them (werewolves?, dragons?, etc).
may point is just that " why aren't they killing people" is not a good argument against the existence of monsters.

I had the same thoughts after listening to a guy called David Paulides talk about his investigation of usual disappearances of missing persons in national park areas. Mabey monsters are real and have the speed, intelligence and senses to evade humans who invade their turf.

the stories must have started from somewhere...... but then again, the humans are doing a pretty good job of being monsters themselves

People gone missing without explanation is not a good argument for the proof of monsters...

For extraordinary claims you need extraordinary evidence, and that's just not it.

So.. what you're saying is..

If a bear attacks a camper out in the woods and no one is there to see it...

Monsters!

?

I dunno about that... I think it's bears..

true people our responsible for some pretty bad stuff but many ancient cultures said that monsters are too
and there is the fact that if you look at folklore and then read the news sometimes you will get a chile

It probably is bears... but with no one there to see it?

Could be monsters!

Probably not. But you get the point.

it is not but my point was that " why don't we hear about these creatures killing people" is not a good argument either because we might be hearing about it and not realized it if you studied as much folklore as me and then keep it in mind when reading a crime report for a strange unsolved crime you would stop and think for minute too

lets be honest, there are not too many unsolved crimes where people have been ripped apart or drained of blood, unless i am looking in the wrong places?
do you have any links to unsolved suspicious deaths that you think might be something more than we are led to believe they are?
