Wikileaks links blocked now?

Why are links to Wikileaks being censored from every post they're in?

For a site about free discussion and denying ignorance things are overly censored imo....

No, anything with the w ikileaks.org domain name. You linked to wikileaks-forum.com. The word itself isn't censored.

just a random archive page for an example. It replaces the domain name with underscores.

It appears to be a auto censor. But it does show up when I hit quote on your post in full.

Yep, it's true/ The link shows up but it takes me to a Server Not Available page.

Obviously something to do with the server being hosted in the US. Is Wikileaks a blacklisted org in the USA or just strongly discouraged. I know the US military & govt have it censored on their servers. good to know access is available through mirrors, though.

I must admit I am kind of curious as to why this blocked. This has purposely been added so it would be good to know why.

I thought a site like this would in support of a site like wikileaks.

I'm sure a mod will be along soon...

I looked back on some of the old wikileak threads and they were blocked from back in 2009, or at least they are now.

Deny ignorance? Freedom of speech? Not here It seems....

Goverments cant close the site can they? So why be scared of them and bow down too there laws on here?
